— Rethinking Realism — Through the realist expressions of contemporary artists, this exhibition invites us to reconsider the question: What is “Realism”? Beyond their exceptional technical mastery lies the profound vision and thought of each artist. Through their works, we hope this exhibition offers an opportunity to “Rethink” the evolution and possibilities of realist painting. . #art #paintings #realismpaintings #rethink #ginzasix

⠀ - ⠀ "Don't worry, everything has a way of coming back." _ @vernonline ⠀ ⠀ ⠀

@shishun_artist ・岡村翔平 @okamura_shohei ・川嶋陽介. @kana_tsumura0610 ・Hiroshi Hayakawa. 👉 https://gallerysumire.squarespace.com/jp/shop/rethink2026 #artworks #groupshow #rethink #realismpaintings #ginzasix

La Nota Mancante | Fondazione Maddalena Di Giacomo La Nota Mancante (“The Missing Note”), the inaugural exhibition of Fondazione Maddalena Di Giacomo, curated by Alexandra Mazzanti @alexandramazzantibaldi , is on view at Palazzo Valier, Venice, until 21 November 2026. Centred on the overarching theme of Memory and inspired by Isabella d’Este’s Impresa delle Pause, the exhibition explores the poetic tension between absence and presence. Conceived as a multisensory journey, it brings together art, fragrance, sound, taste and touch, revealing how the ephemeral can become a powerful vessel for memory. At the heart of the exhibition is a dialogue between historical women artists and contemporary voices, honouring the women whose artistic legacies continue to resonate while exploring new ways of preserving and transmitting what is intangible. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Bernardo Fleming, IFF @artofperfumeryatiff and Caro Verbeek @caroverbeek for their extraordinary contribution to the olfactory research and sensory curation that gives form to the invisible, and to all the artists, collaborators and supporters who have accompanied us through this important first chapter.
