called an ambulance friday bc body stopped working. the stress of coordinating my own care (and harm) is so devastating and WILLLLL end me. this app is so triggering to be on right now but i need to keep crowdfunding my survival… pls SEND HELP!!! my body cannot rest. i am dy*ng. i hate having to turn to the internet like this to keep me safe but the people around me do NOT care what happens to me. the paid caregiver girl who was here during ambulance demanded pay and then quit same day bc of how stressful my health situation is and it’s not worth the money ($23/ hour mind you). im SICK. im trying to hang on until i get funding but idk if my body will make it i’m being so serious.

My friend is isolated in her city with no in person or structural support networks (and very little online support) to help her navigate this traumatic situation. She is a black woman and deserves safety, way WAY beyond what she currently has access to, but I’d like to try to get her more funds so she can worry less about financial stability and use her energy for whatever else she needs. 🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿

We can only say so much publicly without further compromising her safety but please know that what she experiences is a horror beyond most people’s imagination. There are very few solutions that exist to STOP the harassment, so I really want to get her some funds so she can be any amount more comfortable as she endures it, and possibly, to grow the capacity to find the seemingly impossible solution to end the torment. Crisis is manageable with a team. When all else fails, we must open ourselves up to the goodness of the universe and be vulnerable and hope that alignment will deliver us the support we need.

When the physical altar is inaccessible due to the inability to move, walk, or sit up, our bodies and spirits become the altar. Becoming / being severely disabled is extremely, extremely humbling. Prayer feels futile and yet, after every pain management trick has been tricked, it’s all that remains.

Care is expensive. Especially when your needs are all day and night. I’ve run out of time and excuses deluding myself my health is manageable on my own. It is not. I am entering the MIC with more skills and tools than I had before and I am prepared to get what I need from it.

But I cannot get there alone. I need support in my drs appointments and I need fun/ds for care until I can access the resources that would secure care by the state.

I AM TERRIFIED I WILL D!E BEFORE I CAN ACCESS THE LEVEL OF CARE I NEED. MY BASELINE HAS PLUMMETED I HAVE BEEN BEDBOUND THIS ENTIRE YEAR AND I AM FLARING MASSIVELY DAILY NOW AND I LOST MY ENTIRE SUPPORT SYSTEM IN MAY RIGHT AFTER MY SEIZURES. I HAD TO REBUILD MY WEB WHILE IN EXTREME UNBEARABLE PAIN. THIS IS THE WORST CRISIS I HAVE EVER BEEN IN I AM NOT SURE I WILL SURVIVE. PLEASE MOBILIZE. best candidates are accessible and available by phone most hours of the day for helping communicate with folks on shift or for shift cancellations, unexpected changes, etc. but even if you have like 1-3 hours per week you can dedicate to doing admin and wrangling the care web folks, communicating care needs and such with them that would be a big help too. PLEASE LMK THIS IS URGENT i CANNOT manage and coordinate my own care 24/7 as a SEVERELY disabled person who cannot even manage caring for their own disabilities alone #disability #communitysupport #nuerodivergent #mutualaid #care
