Running Mount Ephraim sometimes feels like a solo job especially over the winter months — but the truth is I could never do it without the amazing women around me.

Today on International Women’s Day I want to take a moment to celebrate some of the incredible women who help keep Mount Ephraim going. 💛

To the wonderful Amy, who manages the tea room with such calm commitment — never in a panic, always measured, and endlessly supportive. You’ve done so much more over the years too and I’m so grateful to have you here again.

To Charlotte, without whom I genuinely couldn’t keep going — cleaning the house, looking after our accommodation, caring for Mum when she was ill, supporting Dad, and being there through every twist and turn.

To the brilliant ladies in the ticket box, who take the pressure off at busy times and organise everything so smoothly and also double up in the tea room — thank you to the wonderful Rebecca, Karen and Angelene and of course my lovely cousin Sasha who does so much more besides. Thanks to our fab tea room girls too - Carly, Harriet, Ella, Amelia, Esme, Grace, Rae and many more!

To the lovely Vicky, our freelance wedding day coordinator, who always goes above and beyond.

And to the fantastic event managers @scottandersoncatering , our exclusive wedding caterers, who are quite simply beyond brilliant.

To the wonderful ladies who volunteer in the gardens and give their time, energy and care to help keep the gardens looking so beautiful for everyone who visits.

And to the ever-talented Lucy @madcreativedesign , who designed and hosts our website and is always on hand to help with creative ideas and materials.

Finally, to my amazing friends and family who step in whenever they’re needed — with a special thanks to Eloise and Jen.

As a mum juggling family life while running Mount Ephraim, it can feel overwhelming at times. I truly couldn’t do it without the support of these incredible women around me.

So today I just want to say thank you.

Happy International Women’s Day. 🌸

Woah! Three speaking engagements in three days 😅🎤

Miss Be Seen is at it again 😌

Here we are at the IWD special at Maidstone Business Terrace with the @letsdobusinessgroup 💜💜💜.

I was on the panel with @maryeniiolu, @adelle.smart_sassy_strong and @maidstoneunited very own Tori Campbell - what inspirational women! 🤩🤩🤩

I loved Lucy’s @madcreativedesign insightful questions around DEI policies, work-life balance for business women, overcoming life’s challenges and the way she intertwined the audience’s experiences into the discussion.

I love this month! 🤩 Where do you think you’ll see Miss Be Seen next? 👀👀👀

Great morning at the Business In Maidstone and Let's Do Business Group International Women’s Day event!💜

Thoroughly enjoyed the keynote/coaching session from maryeniiolu - definitely taken some tips away to start using…

Also loved getting to know other attendees and agreeing to head to @mufcwomen match in a couple of weeks!💛

The French farmers blockading the roads leading to diversions and spot the ev charger that’s working has made this trip rather long and challenging - 200km to go to our destination and its now 6:45 pm and we left our home at 4:30 am this morning.

We had so much fun at yesterday’s festive networking (yes, in mid-November!) - it was fab! 🎄

Roughly once a term we (Amy from @bloom.creative.uk and Karen from @thatchcreativeuk) co-host these @digita1women Local: Kent networking meetups and yesterday we had our festive social and last meetup of the year!

It was great to see a bunch of new faces and catch up with some business owners / women working in digital. 🥳

We networked, treated ourselves to @curiousbrewery ‘s lovely drinks selection, and made festive origami wreaths with our achievements of 2023 and our goals for 2024 written on the inside 💜 🎄

Many an early 'have a Happy Christmas' was shared as we all left because we won't see each other again 'til 2024!! We've got some very exciting workshops planned for the new year and we can't wait! ✨

Thank you everyone who came! 🥳
