Getting to plan both twin sisters wedding, one year apart, it is quite special. I am not only grateful for the trust we were given not once, but twice, but also for the relationship that now goes beyond wedding planning ❤️

Cheers to Gabi & William’s wedding, that brought bright yellows and orange colors to The Lodge at Torrey Pines, with a little hint of golf ⛳️

Before anyone walks in, there’s a quiet version of the day. Empty chairs lined up under the trees. The arch standing there waiting. That green @greengablesweddings light coming through everything.

This is the part nobody sees. The setup. The hours of work that go into a space before it fills with the people you love.

And then it holds. Everything the couple pictured, sitting there ready, before a single guest arrives to feel it with them.

There’s something about a venue right before a wedding. It’s all potential. All promise. The whole day still ahead of it.

If you’re still building your vendor team and you want it to feel like this, we’d love to be part of it.

How long did it take for the reception to be set up? Two days.

Day one:
Draping
Stage plus carpeting
Custom dancefloor
Drop off of bigger furniture pieces such as
Custom bars and barback
Lounge sets
Linens steaming

Day two:
Napkins
Chargers
Butter plates
Silverware
Glassware
Table numbers
Menus
Meal cards
Bar signs
Truss and pendants
Lighting
Ah, let’s not forget all the set up of ceremony and cocktail hour

And probably there is more that my brain now is forgetting.

It just doesn’t magically happen, deliveries are scheduled in a way that trucks are not stuck at the dock one after another, the order of items that gets set follows a specific timeline, the teams need breaks for lunch, and each rental company has specific delivery timings that also needs to be taken in consideration because let’s remember that rental companies have multiple events per day. It takes planning and moreover it takes time + a solid relationship with your vendors. That is why we love working with the best ❤️

Every part of this destination wedding reception in San Diego was so thoughtfully designed, from the beautiful tablescapes to the personalized luggage tags waiting for each guest.

We love when couples put intention into the little things, creating an experience that feels just as meaningful for their guests as it does for them.

Katharine & Dillon, married by the sea 🤍

A ceremony overlooking the Pacific, powder blue woven throughout the day, layers of white florals, and a reception beneath the prettiest woven pendants. Every detail felt fresh, coastal, and incredibly chic without trying too hard.

And these two…so much joy and chemistry from beginning to end.
