Kisha akaniuliza swali zito: "Shulen wanafunzi Wengi wanasoma tuition, sisi tutawezaje?"

Hata kitabu kimoja kinatosha kumpa mtoto tumaini jipya. Tushirikiane kuwapa watoto wetu nafasi ya kufanikiwa. ❤️

As the YouLead Summit 2026 came to an end, I experienced a moment that made the journey even more meaningful.

I had the honour of graduating as part of the Lead(H)er Fellowship 4th Cohort and standing alongside remarkable African women who have spent the past year learning, growing, and leading change in their communities.

What made this moment special was not the certificate or the recognition ,it was the realization that I was surrounded by women who are committed to shaping a better future for Africa.

The fellowship challenged us to move beyond ideas and take impactful actions in the community we serve!

To the incredible women of Cohort 4, thank you for inspiring me.

And to every young African woman with a dream: your voice matters, your leadership matters, the world awaits you!

Day 1 &2 Recap at the YouLead summit 2026

The first two days of the YouLead Summit 2026 have been filled with learning, dialogue, and inspiration.

We had the honour of engaging with distinguished leaders, including the former Vice President of Zambia, Dr. Nevers Mumba, Tanzania's Youth minister Hon. Joel Nnauka, ambassadors, policymakers, and development practitioners from across Africa.

Through keynote sessions, panel discussions, and breakout sessions, we explored important topics ranging from youth leadership and governance to peace, justice, sustainable development, and the role of young people in shaping Africa's future.

One message continued to echo throughout the conversations:

Young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow we are leaders of today.

Beyond the sessions, the summit has been a space for connection, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas with passionate young changemakers from across the continent.

My biggest takeaway so far

Leadership is not about position; it is about service, impact, and the courage to contribute to something bigger than yourself.
