THE THAVMA EDIT. | NATALY @natalyqp

Quiet demeanor. Colombian fire. A whole other personality once the dancing starts. 💃🏻

She has a law degree from Colombia, believes being overdressed is only awkward if you decide it is, and knows exactly what her students would lovingly roast her for:

“Occasionally inventing a new English phrase mid-class. English is my second language, so sometimes you get yoga with a little creative translation.” 😂

The accent, the expressions, the delivery, we ❤️ the whole @natalyqp experience.

And beneath it all? Someone whose favorite thing to hear is, “I’m so glad I came. I needed this.”

Swipe to get to know her.
Then tell us: what’s your favorite Nataly phrase? 🤍

THE STYLE PHILOSOPHY

Your most controversial opinion outside yoga?

“Being overdressed is only awkward if you decide it is.”

THE FIRST-CLASS REASSURANCE

Hiding in the back row?

“Give yourself permission to be new! I’m still going to check on you, though… the back row doesn’t make you invisible.”😉

THE SHIFT

What did THAVMA change your mind about?

“I used to think fitness was mostly about how you look.”

Now? Discipline. Understanding your body. Taking care of your health.

“When you stay consistent, the results follow.”

THE PLOT TWIST

Something your students would never guess?

“I got my law degree in Colombia!”

Consider this your cue to never argue with her about one more rep.

HER KIND OF RESET

A good book. A little bubbly.
Absolutely nowhere to rush.

HER PEOPLE. HER OTHER PERSONALITY.

Soft-spoken at the studio.
The hype girl in the group chat.

TEACH THE BODY.
NOT JUST THE CHOREOGRAPHY.

Every body comes into the room with a different history, different habits, different strengths and different limitations.

That’s why teaching should be more than memorizing cues or recreating a shape.

At Thavma, we teach you to observe the body in front of you, understand why a cue matters, and know how to progress the movement with purpose.

Because the goal isn’t to make everyone look the same.

It’s to help people move better, get stronger and trust what their body can do.

Honor the pose. Teach the person.

Life lately has been full of love, laughter, and the people who make it better. Baby shower, beach days, my favorite person, and the gym to keep it all balanced. 🩰🎠🙏🏻🦧🐮🩵🦋

Most people see the pose.

We look at how the person got there.

Where they found stability.
Where they borrowed mobility.
What compensated.
What took over.
What needs to happen next.

Because doing the movement is one skill.

Reading the body and knowing how to cue it is another.

That’s what we teach inside the Thavma Movement Academy.

Anatomy. Alignment. Body mechanics.

If you’ve heard “engage your core” 500 times but still aren’t totally sure what you’re supposed to feel…

That’s exactly the kind of thing we teach differently at Thavma.

We don’t just give you cues. We teach you what they mean in your body and how to actually use them.

So if you’re tired of being told what to do without being taught how to do it…

you may need Thavma. 💙
