Deep in our feels, leaving our beautiful home we so lovingly restored among the ancient oaks of Topanga today. It’s true, we thought Amethyst Oaks was our forever, ever. We LIFE’d so hard here; we healed, we raised and fostered pups, Dolly Parton's very own muralist even visited a few times ✨ We planted A LOT of lavender, cacti, dreams, and ideas here. It’s the dreams and ideas that generally get us into the best and most amount of trouble…
Thank goodness Matt and I find our forever homes within ourselves and within each other, otherwise, it would be impossible to say goodbye. Hello next chapter, and a million fairy wing flutters of thank you’s, Topanga, for letting us giggle under your topiary and for welcoming us into your enchanted vortex. It’s time for us to leave the garden now, but you’re a chapter in our lives we’ll always be so very , very grateful for. ✨❤️

Our beautiful, beautiful Charlie boy. Our gentle, happy giant floated in to our lives unexpectedly like an Angel, cracking our hearts wide open as big as his own. Big brother to Ziggy and Koa, Mayor of daycare, the absolute King of our hearts, cuddly cornerstone of our home, loved so BIG, so brightly that his star burned out before our love for him ever could. To love you, Charlie, to belong to you, was everything. To lose you so suddenly, so tragically, is unbearable. But no matter the heartbreak, we would choose you again and again, from beginning to end. We’re forever grateful you chose us, too, our sweetest boy. While our time together was too short for our understanding, our love for you never could be. You changed us. Thank you for the kisses, the memories, and shared love, beautiful, beautiful Charlie boy. 💔

15 years ago today, Matt and I woke up not knowing we would meet the love of our lives that night - still my souls favorite surprise ❤️ Our work dinner (turned best first date ever !) would be the beginning of the rest of our life’s adventure together.
