See how Mike is injecting character into the building, with a nod to its history.

As shown in the video, which of the three moulding options do you prefer?
Let us know in the comments below!

6 years ago today. I had pain whilst breathing. And it turns out I'd had a heart attack.

I was 32 and petrified. On the 5th I have surgery. The 7th I was let home with so many medications. And they have continually changed. Some leaving, new ones coming in. Dosages upping. My life has changed dramatically. Depression seemed to take over a lot around that time. And even though it's been 20 plus years of it, and it won't leave me be. I'll get through it.

My mind has been negative. But I'm still here.
My arms and legs have had their troubles. But I'm still here.
I may think I'm not worthy of being here. But I am still here

And so, is like to say a few things.

First off...

THANK YOU to the amazing staff at Southmead Hospital and the Bristol Royal Infirmary - Heart Institute.

The paramedics. The doctors. The nurses. The surgeons that did my surgery asap. Without you I would not be here now.

Next up to the people in the pictures:

If I wasn't here, I would not have been able to have these memories.

Jon. Mike. Mikey. Duncan. Thank you for making me have a reason to smile. You're all as crazy as me and I love it! xxxx

Jai. Thank you for putting up with my crazy mess too. And for all the videos on Cameo. x

And my bestie! My sister! Who I had only met a few months before this happened, but who still stands by me. Reminds me she'd miss me if I went. Kicks my ass about taking my meds everyday.

You're a TRUE friend. An AMAZING person, and you keep me going with our extremely random conversations. Thank you for letting me drone on n on about people you don't know (lol)

And now for people who haven't got pictures in this post but have also helped improve my life since 2020.

Peaches, John York and AJ. Also all my Gems, Angels and Darlings. You all help get me through. xxxxxx

Deena. You're writing is incredible x

Liam. Your skits always make me smile x

And finally to my Mum and Dad. I was at theirs when this happened and they did all they could to make the start of my recovery as easy as possible. Love you both xx

Mike’s been getting plastered…

Before you get the wrong idea, we mean the building kind!

There’s been more progress at The Bath House, with the plastering now underway and the space starting to look more and more like the vision.

And now for an important question…

What colour do you think Mike is going to paint the ceiling?

Drop your guesses in the comments.

A big thank you to everyone who’s following along with the build, sharing our posts and supporting The Bath House. We really appreciate it and love being able to bring you along for the journey.

More updates coming as we continue to work behind the scenes.

A little update from The Bath House...

The plasterboard is now up, so you can start to get a much better feel for the layout, with the kitchen and toilet areas taking shape.

And the light in here is something else. It really gives you a feel for what a lovely space this is going to be.

Can you imagine settling down for some delicious sushi, meeting a friend for coffee and cake, or simply popping in to grab a takeaway to enjoy as you stroll around Cowes?

There’s still plenty to do, but it’s getting there. Thank you so much for all your support along the way.

The Bath House - worth the wait, we promise!

🐾 Good news for dog lovers...

At The Bath House, well-behaved dogs will be just as welcome as their humans.

After all, some of the best walks on the Island end with a coffee, something delicious to eat and a four-legged friend curled up at your feet.

We're already thinking about how we can make visiting with your dog that little bit more special, and we'd love your ideas...

🐶 If your dog could order from the menu, what would they choose?
Dog treats? A puppuccino? Homemade biscuits? Something else entirely?

Let us know in the comments – we'd love to hear what you and your furry companions would like to see when The Bath House opens 🐾
