AC100 Josephine Peak Aid Station ⛰️🏃🏽‍♀️✨

It’s been a long time coming to volunteer at this historic race. Wake-up call was at 2:30am, and it was all worth it to be out there cheering on and crewing for all the runners coming through.

It was my pleasure to help you all, and I hope our aid station came through!

CONGRATULATIONS to all the runners who toed the start line! Every single one of you is amazing. ✨

Weekend after weekend in the mountains. Miles on the course. One foot in front of the other.

For Andreina Chimal (@mee_mooch), preparing for Angeles Crest 100 has been about putting in the time, pushing through doubt, and showing up even when it's hard.

Race day is the celebration of all the work that came before it.

THE COUNTDOWN IS ON. 🔥

On Saturday, October 3, the 2026 AC100 begins.

One hundred miles through the San Gabriels. One start line. A finish that must be earned.

The course will test every runner, but AC100 is never a solo effort. Crews, volunteers, aid stations, families and the trail-running community make every mile possible.

Runners, the work is in. Now it’s time.

We’ll see you at the start.

Meet Andreina Chimal.

Seven years ago, running AC100 was only an idea. It became a dream, then a goal, and in 2025 Andreina made it a reality.

Smoke, heat, high elevation, stomach issues, and tight cutoffs tested her throughout the race. She kept moving and earned her first AC100 finish in 34:37:08.

Now the teacher and four-time 100-mile finisher returns for her second consecutive AC100. She has been preparing by recreating the terrain and elevation of the San Gabriels on her local trails.

We’ll see @mee_mooch back at the starting line on October 3.
