ONE YEAR: AUGUST!!! 💖🥳✨📖🪩🎂🎀🥰 One year of Enchanted Pages!!!! 🥹 we obviously had to throw a banger for our anniversary meeting, and it turned out bigger and better than we could’ve imagined!!! 🥰 we had sparkles and glitter, yummy matcha, an abundance of snacks, dance music, a stunning cake, FABULOUS party outfits, and the VIBES?!Incredible 🤩🤩🤩 A special happy birthday to our August babies, Lila & Sabrina (who sadly couldn’t make it) 💝 Sharing a birthday month with E.P is really a huge flex because you get a party with us every year!!! 🙂‍↕️🥳🥰 Huge thank you to everyone who helped set up this event and make it possible!! Our sweet Natalie for hosting in this incredible space, @matchadelicmatcha for our delicious matcha, and @lacremepastry for our gorgeous cake!! 🤩 and shoutout to my setup and cleaning crew, you the GOAT’S 🥹✨💌 What started as a simple idea to find local book lovers turned into something so much bigger; a sense of community, a beautiful sisterhood, and friendships that have changed every single one of us. Every meeting this past year has become such a wonderful memory full of laughs and tears and hugs and everything in between 💝 all of these ladies contribute SO MUCH to our group every month and we truly would not be here without them!! Book Club Night with @liztomforde.author 🧢✨🫶🏽 On Tuesday I had the best time at the Q&A with Liz for In Her Own League! They had us at @littlecaesarsarena for that portion of the night and then we headed over to Comerica Park where she threw the first pitch. It was awesome too because those who purchased the VIP pass were gifted a signed copy of the book with such beautiful sprayed edges as well as a tote bag! I’m so happy I was able to go to this event because I got the chance to meet @aryanathebookaddict and ran into @meesreads along with a few other of her book friends! This was so fun I hope I can go to more of these kind of author events in the future 🤭⚾️🩷 #bookstagram #bookclub #reader #liztomforde #detroit

Chapter ten: May! ✨⚖️🔥 Our May BOTM was Blood Over Bright Haven by M. L. Wang, and talk about mind-blowing?!?! 🤯This book was heavier than we anticipated, but that didn’t take away from how incredible the story is. A blazing representation of a classist and misogynistic society, colonialism, and a totally unique magic system- this is one we’ll be thinking about for a while! We had allll the sweet treats this month, including dot cakes and an amazingggg ice cream bar (courtesy of Maria 🥹)! It was the perfect evening for a backyard meeting under the stars ✨ Our May member of the month is 🥁🥁🥁…Laurain!! Our whimsical fairy who always shows up to our meetings with the most contagious energy! Thank you for hosting us and for having the CUTEST pup and honorary member, Lucky 🥹❤️ We have only one May baby in our group- Rebecca (who was there in spirit)! 🥳💕 Another amazing meeting in the books!! it was my birthday two weeks ago🌿 and i celebrated it twice! i am so thankful for my friends who gifted me the most me gifts ever. for my coworkers for surprising me with a cake and gift (a book!!!) after eating phenomenal pizzas. to my girls here that got me a book off my wishlist without having to (love you so much). i ate great food and had a fabulous time!!!!!!!

May wrap up (a little late)📚🫶🏼🥰 I truly did not realize how much i did last month!! ya girl was booked and busy 🤣 but such fun times 🥰 📚: I only read 2 books last month 😅 which is fine, we vibe!! 🎬: I’ve been loving prioritizing going to the movies every month! The movies that have been coming out have been GREAT Cinema is so back!! 📺: This month was dominated by Off Campus, and then IWTV!! Safe to say i’m obsessed 🤭 and of course i’m always watching Real Housewives 🫡 🎧: Believe it or not, i’m always shocked at my top artists and top songs because i never realize how much im listening to something or someone!! But i know statistically i have never listened to a song more than i have Carla’s song!🤣 honorable mention: John Travolta’s Beret’s!!! I hope June is kind do you friends!🫶🏼🫶🏼
