Roll initiative with us at our first full power meet in the *falliday* season! I am so happy to be able to bring the community together for this meet that you, our amazing athletes, have asked for for a few years now. Thank you in advance for all the volunteers who have offered their time to bring this to life and we can close out the year with a fun one!

We are gathering our party on November 7th at Odd Barbell! Head over to the bit.ly/criticalstrength2026 (clickable link in my bio!) to register!

A light matrix-themed event in the spring and a light d&d themed event this fall, y'all are really indulging my nerdiest dreams this year!

🎲 VEGAS, well done. But also, touché . 😂
Best idea to take a bestie vacation to #Vegas for her 34th birthday , she had me out here acting like a Leo with her ♌️ 🎂. Free stuff, fun times, memories we will add to the list of amazing adventures.

Shout out to the real MVPs , my family. These people have supported this journey and have been unbelievable. I truly can’t thank them enough for putting up with all the ups and downs the last two years. (Adam taking turns waking up with Daisy when she’s teething or sick when I had early morning training sessions , him picking up the slack at home when I had to got to posing classes. He has been my rock and the girls have been the sweetest cheerleaders ever.)

From me throwing us all into this hard thing , right after Daisy was born, to standing with me as I accept these trophies 🏆. Thank you guys for being the best support system ever.

This year, The Odd Ones In 4 was able to donate $2,785 to @pdxsaintslove and every year I am so grateful to be part of this very special day with some of my favorite people on the earth. I was able to compete on the platform (my own!) for the first time this year because I asked for help, and so many of you believe in an inclusive platform for all.

Thank you to all the lifters for trusting us, and sharing your strength with all of us on our most special day of the year! Thank you volunteers, every single one of you is so essential to making the day run smoothly and helping our athletes feel supported and safe. There is a significant portion of volunteers (and lifters) who come to Odd Ones In from different STATES which is WILD TO ME but I am SO GRATEFUL to have anyone join us!!! Thank you @sixhoursoflucy for being our in-house DJ and embracing my Matrix theme, and thank you @theobertos for the many many burritos.

Thank you @ryanstills_powerlifter and @mel_oddbarbell for letting me take over the gym every year so we can share this gym with others, this place that means so much to me and has literally saved my life hundreds of times. @odd_barbell is the place where I train, but it's also where I dance, cry, eat candy, see all my friends, and laugh the hardest I have ever laughed in my life. It makes me so happy that we can share that at least one day a year with everyone else.

We hope to see you again next year, or at another meet we hold this year (TBA, still recovering from this one, def pulled my back a lil bit on that last PEER PRESSURED DEADLIFT)

As always, thank you @kestrelphoto for the most beautiful memories, wow, I am really lucky, y'all!!

This is always an incredible meet @excusemekatie & @odd_barbell put on and I'm always so grateful to be involved! The vibes were magnificent, we finished early, and it was so great running into more familiar faces! ❤️

Thank you @bruh_lifts for killing the platform and motivating everyone! @janie_k6 and @hopeallenl and the other spotters/ loaders kept us running so smoothly and it means the world to see my own athletes giving back to the sport and community!!

Too many great people to tag, but thank you to everyone who helped put this on! Can't wait for the next one!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽

🗣️🎉On March 14th we welcome ALL to the Odd Ones In inclusive platform for the fourth (!!!) year in a row!✨💪

This year we are fundraising for @pdxsaintslove, a team of community health workers and peer support specialists, who walk alongside community members addressing food insecurity, houselessness, substance abuse, trauma, and poverty. Food, housing, hygiene, safety, and security are basic needs of all, and providing access to these basic needs serves their mission of building bridges of compassion to restore our neighborhoods. Their program includes a day center, wellness fairs, peer support, resident services, workforce development, and neighborhood clean ups.

We are excited for both the opportunity to highlight and support such a needed organization who aligns with our values, as well as providing space for EVERYBODY to be their strongest, truest selves. This meet came together as a direct response to the exclusionary policies of the major powerlifting federations who do not meet our community needs--so we created our own meet and are thankful for @odd_barbell, our meet sponsors, and our incredible lifters for believing in us and our vision of an inclusive platform for all every year!

🗣️🎉We'll see you on meet day! March 14th! 10AM! 💪✨

I love the gays, the theys, the femmes, the thems, and I love giving the space to be themselves while lifting some very heavy things. Last Sunday was a perfect blend of chaos, fun, new and old friends, and sapphic celebration.

Thank you @thesportsbrapdx for the opportunity and support (the two other Katies especially). Thank you @odd_barbell for believing in me and everything that encompasses. Thank you incredible volunteers who keep everyone safe and hyped. Thank you most of all to our athletes, and all 80+ of you on our waitlist—it proves that an inclusive platform is what our community is asking for, and hopefully more and more people and spaces will answer the call.

Happy pride! Hope to see you all again on the platform 🌈🏳️‍⚧️✨
