Cambodia 💜 high expectations were exceeded 💜 all superlatives used by people who’d been were accurate. This little album is just moments I loved, and turned out to be a collection of mostly open-mouthed smiles and stunning temples. Perfect summary of why I’m smitten. Huge huge thanks to @gadventures and @planeterracares for a superb week in a stunning, welcoming country I can’t wait to visit again 💜💜💜 #GXCambodia

If I only had time to visit one of the hundreds of temples inside the Angkor Wat complex, it would be this one 🇰🇭 Made famous by the scenes in the original Tomb Raider movie, Ta Prohm truly makes you feel like you’re discovering some ancient monument for the first time. Even when it was new, it was deliberately built deep into the overgrown jungle to be at one with nature. But now, over 800 years later, giant trees have grown amongst the rubble, their roots now intertwined with the crumbling structures. It’s one of the most extraordinary places I’ve ever visited, so my recommendation is to give yourself plenty time to enjoy it. We came here at sunrise on our second day of exploring Angkor Wat and we had the entire place to ourselves. Getting to enjoy the peace and tranquility without any other tourists was what made it truly an experience to remember 💚 Huge thanks to @gadventures for bringing us to experience the absolute best of Cambodia 🫶🏼 #cambodia #cambodian #angkorwat #siemreap #cambodia🇰🇭

“Telling a story to a world of storytellers is a daunting task. As a photographer I have spent the majority of my career behind the lens, channeling emotion into my work. Stepping in front of the camera and sharing my inner world, some of my hardest moments, and the enduring thread through all of it, feels vulnerable in a completely new way.

Part of this story is the first time I have shared it with anyone, my own family included. But to share something meaningful you have to sit with it in its truest form. To share it any other way would be an injustice to the lived experience.

What remains true is this: If this story connects with even one person, if it moves someone to see the beauty in the small moments, to pick up a camera and explore their own creativity, then that is what matters.

Duality exists in nature, within myself, and within us all. That is where my inspiration begins.” - @melissafindley

“There are times when being a photographer feels like holding two worlds at once. Becoming both the observer and the participant. A person who preserves time, knowing all along how fleeting it is.

Capturing a single frame and creating a living breathing story simultaneously.  Perhaps this is why we are drawn to photography.

The Leica SL3-P is the first tool I have ever held that understands this. It doesn’t ask me to choose between freezing a moment and letting it unfold. It holds both. Moving fluidly between photo and video, it allows me to stay present and to stay inside the story.” - @melissafindley
