Client Spotlight: @mindandmuscle_by_bec ⭐️
Coach: @coachmg_ont 🫡
Federation: @nbaaustralia_official 👠

Bec came to me 12 months out from competint. She previously competed in NBA in bikini but wanted more of a challenge the next time she stepped on stage. She was meticulous with her posing and presentation when she was deep in her off-season, which is the best time to practice and to build your posing fitness up. She booked sessions with me weekly, but she dedicated so much time to practising at home too. She even turned part of her lounge room and kitchen into a posing and check-in area 😍

Throughout prep, she faced many challenges in her personal life and career which proves that life doesn’t stop for us. If anything, it just gets more hectic with prep, but when that happens, we can prove to ourselves that we can do anything. As a mum of three she definitely can handle and do anything she sets her mind to, which is even more of an aspiration as to how she does it all 🫶

Bec competed in the SA state show and won the overall in both sports and fitness 👑 A few weeks later going to nationals in Melbourne and taking away x2 2nd places and x1 5th place in fitness and x1 2nd place and x2 3rd places in sports! 🏆

One thing bodybuilding has taught me is that building the physique is only half the battle.

You can have incredible muscle, great conditioning, and spend months or even years perfecting your body, but if you can’t present it properly on stage, judges and the audience won’t see the full picture.

Posing isn’t just standing there and smiling. It’s learning how to showcase your strengths, create shape, highlight symmetry, and display all the hard work you’ve put into your training and nutrition.

The difference between a good physique and a winning physique is often how well it’s presented.

Never underestimate the value of posing practice. The hours spent perfecting your routine can be just as important as the hours spent in the gym.

As I head into peak week, I can honestly say I feel ready. Ready to step on that stage, ready to showcase the work, the sacrifices, the discipline, and the growth that has brought me here.

Bodybuilding isn’t something I do. It’s part of who I am. Every challenge, every setback, every early morning and late night has led me to this moment.

I was born to do this.

Train the body. Master the presentation. Own the stage.

The first clip is where I started
The second is where I dreamed of being

It’s easy to focus on how far you still want to go but sometimes it’s important to stop and look back at how far you’ve already come!!

Years of work, countless hours behind the scenes and a whole lot of belief in a goal I couldn’t see yet

Today, I’m so proud of the girl who kept showing up 🩵

👇 Thoughts to ponder on 👇

When one partner starts to rise and achieve goals, it can trigger insecurities and unworthiness in the other.
.
This can lead to the supportive partner clinging, trying to keep the achiever small and in their comfort zone.
.
In this conversation, @melissaperre l shares how having a supportive partner while she competed on international shows definitely served her in chasing down her greatness
.
✨️Todays question i encourage you to sit with....✨️
👇
Does your partner want to see you rise in your power and encourage your growth or do they let their own insecurities get in the way and keep you caged in the version of you that they find most comfort in?

There’s something about consistency that changes you from the inside out.
Not just physically… mentally too.

Weeks of showing up tired, pushing through prep, learning how to pose, how to move, how to carry yourself with confidence and femininity on stage. It’s honestly a whole different world — and I’m so grateful to be learning it properly.

Huge thank you to @melissaperre for helping guide me through this journey and showing me how to move, pose and step into becoming a wellness girl. Every session I feel myself improving a little more.

Still learning. Still growing. Still putting in the work every single day. ✨
