When pain becomes normal, you don't even realize you're living with it.

Thinking foot pain only lasted until noon, a practitioner delivered a powerful realization: the pain never actually stopped—the body just went numb to it. Recognizing when you've tuned out chronic pain is a crucial step in physical recovery.

45 Friday.

Old school or modern, the .45 ACP never goes out of style. Neither does a good watch.

Different eras, same philosophy. These have seen match time and wrist time. They’re tools meant to be shot and worn.

Buy what you like. Use what you own.

Executing thousands of vehicle rams during tactical driving instruction built up a heavy physical toll.

When a ram is executed properly, the force pushes straight through with minimal issue. But when a student steps on the brake right at impact, the secondary crash jolts the entire body—shaking things up the wrong way over years of repetitive training.

I think the Achilles' heel for most of us is alcohol, man.

Taking an extended break from drinking reveals just how much better every part of the body can actually feel.

As time goes by, tolerance drops and recovery takes much longer. Comparing drinking to working out—if you haven't done it in years, the recovery period is going to be rough.

As an 18 Charlie handling demo, explosive shockwaves were just part of the routine.

Detonating two Claymore mines on the back side of a massive tree seemed safe enough, but when those charges blew, the shockwave came right around that trunk. It knocked the air straight out of their lungs and shook their entire bodies—an everyday event in uniform that carries lasting physical effects.

Brotherhood. There’s something to be said about shared Sacrifice, and suffering together. I’m not going to lie, it was hard. Being thousands of miles away from Family, in a foreign place, no physical comfort, just completely focused on the Mission. But having my Brothers in the trenches with me, to my right and left, made it all possible. Leaving the Army was one of the toughest decisions I’ve ever had to make. But it was the right one. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss the Boys each and every single day. Here’s to the ones still in the Fight- DOL ⚡️⚡️🇺🇸🤟🏼

We lost a good one far too soon.

@jimmy_f3t and @f3tactical supported Green Ops from the beginning and were always great friends to us. F3 was never just a gear shop — it was a place to stop in, talk guns and gear, catch up with friends, and usually stay a lot longer than you planned. Jimmy made it that kind of place..

We’ll always be grateful for his friendship and his support of Green Ops over the years.

The firearms community lost a great man and a true friend. We are diminished by his passing.

Rest easy, Jimmy. We hope Bolt was there waiting for you. 🇺🇸
