Coozies and Zines for Gaza and G.L.I.T.S! It's me at the mic in chambray here to tell you that I'm selling the merch left from last week's show as a fundraiser for two efforts I am honored to support. Buy a coozie or a zine for $10 each; half will go to @daliawalia 's fundraiser for Samer's family in Gaza, the other half will go to @glits_inc 's $1 Million Fundraiser. If I hit $400 for each the rest will go to beloved @linkshall who are trying to raise $15k by July 15. So many things that need our financial support these days; what luck I have so much special stuff left to help contribute. Local pickup in Chicago or NYC available, or extra $5 for shipping. Link in bio to order.
Coozie drawn/designed by @middlesistercardco , and like the zine is a limited run locally printed in Chicago. More info on both at link.

Our film set dressing uplifts and advances LGBTQ+ artists while creating a uniquely queer and cozy home for Lee & Charlie. Their Andersonville apartment functions as the sanctuary that holds all intimate, slice-of-life private moments the script weaves together. For example, the La Croix art prints that we see when Lee enters the bathroom in the opening scene were designed by queer small business owner (and our production designer) Melanie Plank (she/they). These prints foreshadow scene 8, when Lee & Charlie are found camping out on a bathroom floor littered with La Croix cans, experiencing the depths of morning sickness.

Checkout Melanie's work @middlesistercardco @mejplank! Support queer artists!

Hit that linky in our bio to keep our project funded! 🌈 🌟

Guilty pleasure confession: I’m a whore for all these Love Is Blind/Married At First Sight/Ultimatum shows. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️😂 It’s kinda like roadkill. You don’t want to look but some diabolical part of you can’t tear your eyes away. 👀 We just finished LIB 3, so I obviously have to pick out cards for the cast. Zanab is legit the worst. feeling too many things and ways for words to describe as i share the final conversation in this series - a project inspired by cosmic kairos time and my year of solar communion. a project that consumed, clarified, expanded, my own solar expression and 5th house creative life force.

planning to record one more solo episode to close out the project, but this is the soft ending to a year+ of process, channeling, and art-making.

in a conversation with #pisces i speak with self described “most existential kid on the playground,” @meljplank (aka @middlesistercardco)

mel is also my childhood bestie. we met on the bus in sixth grade and have been happily, easily, and lovingly in friendship ever since.

in this conversation you’ll enjoy lots of laughter - especially melanie falling into laughter at herself while i barrel forward (pisces aries things). we speak of the performance of being human, how pisces knows this is all just a funny cosmic joke, clouds in general and also a specific cloud. we retell stories of the two fights we’ve ever had in our two-decade relationship and get into how our astrology describes the dynamics of the friction that caused them.

we also talk about a time melanie went to outer space and rubbed the planets on her cheeks, and other such galactic happenings as well as very human and mundane but still whimsical magical things.

enjoy this effortless and absolutely pure expression of pisces.
