🧀🌱 Vegan cheese made from lupines grown in Swiss and German soil. 🇨🇭🇩🇪 I’ve been working with @new__roots for more than 5 years, founded by the visionary minds @freddy_hunziker & @mini_alz. And from day one, it was clear: this was never just about making vegan cheese. It was about solving problems. 🌍 A climate problem. An animal welfare problem. And a problem with the way we feed ourselves. Finding a solution took years of incredibly hard work, patience, and above all, the courage to keep believing in the process — even when the road ahead wasn’t clear. Aujourd’hui, cette entreprise 🇨🇭 est sur le point de commercialiser un produit révolutionnaire dans l’alimentation végétale : un fromage à pâte dure, à base de lupin suisse, affiné selon les savoir-faire des fromagers, et sans souffrance animale ! 😋 Pour permettre la finalisation de sa production, @new__roots a lancé un crowdfunding dont les contreparties ont de quoi faire saliver les plus sceptiques. It’s been a whole month since I made an honest woman out of @mini_alz and so many people have asked me “does it feel different?” For sure it does, and here’s how: 1️⃣ I didn’t think she could be any more beautiful, but just putting a ring on her finger has magically elevated her beauty to unprecedented levels. 2️⃣ We both feel like we are pretending to be grown up’s and that feels pretty silly and whimsical 3️⃣ I always knew that we were going to get old and die together but this kind of seals the deal 4️⃣ It feels reassuring to have made this commitment to each other in a formal way, with our friends and family around us. It feel serious but in a calming way. And finally I just feel so lucky that I get to goof around with my best friend on the daily. I never thought I would get married, it seemed like a totally unnecessary thing to do, but I’m so glad we decided to pretend to be adults, even if it was just for one day. Je t’aime my love ❤️ and happy one month anniversary 🎉🥳🎊

Il y a 3 ans, @mini_alz et moi discutions intensément des critères non négociables que l’on vérifiait chez les hommes avant d’entrer en relation avec eux. On critiquait vivement l’institution du mariage, de ses dangers sur l’émancipation des femmes et des dérives de la monogamie. À peine quelques jours après cette discussion empuissançante, @samhill_creative entrait dans sa vie. Il correspondait en tous points à la liste des exigences d’Alice. Son pouvoir de manifestation n’est plus à prouver. Alors, quand bien même je continue d’opposer une résistance militante au concept même du mariage, je n’ai pas pu contenir mes larmes de joie d’assister à l’union de ces deux magnifiques personnes, que je sais suffisamment lucides et instruites politiquement parlant pour faire de leur mariage un terrain d’équité et d’épanouissement sincère 🤍 @mini_alz je continue de t’aimer comme my wife and Sam I’m really grateful for your beautiful soul and the love, security and happiness you provide to Alice 🙏🏽 *** Ah au fait, si vous cherchez quelqu’un pour faire des discours incisifs et déstabilisants à votre mariage, je suis la personne qu’il vous faut 🙃

DIETRO UN PRODOTTO VEGANO NON C’È SOLO CIBO. C’È UNA SCELTA, UNA VISIONE, UN CAMBIAMENTO. 🌱❤️ Abbiamo avuto la bellissima opportunità di visitare New Roots, realtà svizzera 100% vegana, e di scoprire più da vicino cosa c’è dietro i prodotti che troviamo sugli scaffali. Abbiamo visto come nascono, conosciuto meglio i processi, assaggiato i loro prodotti e soprattutto incontrato le persone che ogni giorno lavorano per dimostrare che un’alimentazione vegetale può essere buona, innovativa e piena di possibilità. Ma ciò che mi colpisce di più di realtà come questa sono i valori. Perché ogni volta che scegliamo un’azienda vegana, non stiamo semplicemente comprando qualcosa da mangiare: stiamo sostenendo il mondo che vorremmo vedere crescere. 🌍🌱 Un mondo in cui innovazione, gusto e rispetto per gli animali possono finalmente andare nella stessa direzione. Grazie New Roots per averci aperto le porte e per questa bellissima esperienza. ❤️ Il cambiamento passa anche da ciò che scegliamo di mettere nel nostro piatto. 🌱

Ten years ago, we decided to see what would happen if we kept everything we love about Swiss cheesemaking (the craftsmanship, the taste, the ridiculously high standards) and left the animal exploitation and environmental damage behind. We didn’t come for Swiss cheese tradition because we hate it; it’s literally the complete opposite. We love the craft, the patience, the fermentation, the ageing, the knowledge passed down over generations; so we decided to make it ethical and sustainable to make sure it can survive the test of time! 🌱 QUANDO DIETRO A UN PRODOTTO NON CI SONO SOLO INGREDIENTI, MA VALORI, AMORE E RISPETTO… SI SENTE. 💚 Ho provato per la prima volta lo yogurt Stracciatella di New Roots e posso dirlo: È BUONISSIMO. 🤯🤤 100% VEGANO e super goloso! Ma ciò che mi fa amare ancora di più questa azienda va ben oltre il gusto. Ho avuto la fortuna di conoscere Alice, co-fondatrice di New Roots, e l’ho trovata una donna eccezionale, piena di valori. Parlando con lei si percepiscono davvero l’amore per gli animali, il rispetto per la natura e il desiderio di costruire qualcosa di diverso. 🌍🐮💚 E credo che tutto questo arrivi anche nei loro prodotti. Ormai ne ho provati tantissimi e quasi tutti li adoro! Per questo voglio ricordare una cosa importante: LE AZIENDE VEGANE, SOPRATTUTTO QUELLE FAMILIARI E INDIPENDENTI, HANNO BISOGNO DEL NOSTRO SOSTEGNO. Se vogliamo trovare sempre più alternative vegane nei supermercati, dobbiamo anche sceglierle, comprarle, parlarne e condividerle. Perché ogni acquisto è anche un piccolo voto per il mondo che vogliamo vedere crescere. 🌱 Più sosteniamo queste realtà → più possono crescere → più possono innovare → più prodotti vegani arriveranno sul mercato → più facile diventerà scegliere senza sfruttare gli animali. Quindi GRAZIE ALICE e grazie a tutto il team di New Roots per quello che create e, soprattutto, per i valori che portate avanti. 💚 Continuate così. Abbiamo bisogno di aziende che dimostrino che si può creare qualcosa di incredibilmente buono facendo scelte migliori per gli animali e per il nostro pianeta. 🌍🐾🌱 E questo Stracciatella… ENTRA UFFICIALMENTE TRA I MIEI PREFERITI. 😂🤤#
