We have all heard the quote “people make the place” and it couldn’t be more accurate. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put this feeling into words. Recently, we connected with our Evie’s for a stroll around the viaduct (my favourite walk). Getting to chat to our community about what’s important to them, where they are at in their journey and share Clear Skin Drink was an honour. I sure am unbelievably grateful for your village!!! A major thank you to the entire team at @evewellnessco_ who brought this together so flawlessly and @bowler_bowler_ for our yummy coffees and treats! Clear Skin Drink is booming and the results are pouring in. Buy yours online through the link in my bio or at any @chemistwarehousenewzealand around NZ 🎀🎀🐷

Some things bend back into shape after pressure and some things (like our muscles) grow stronger! What’s all this? There are four general categories people fall into: 1. Fragile - like glass 2. Robust - like concrete 3. Resilient 4. Anti-fragile If you relate more to the fragile and robust categories, but you want to become more agile, the good news is that resilience is a set of LEARNED capabilities that are trainable. Genes and even environment determine less of these capabilities than practice does. Cass is an incredible example of resilience, being able to flex and adapt to the challenges that come her way and make something out of them that ends up serving others going through similar challenges. Unreal work bestie, thanks for the inspiration ❤️

My most memorable work was never my safest bet. Today’s panel didn’t sugarcoat a thing. We unpacked what it really takes to break through like bolder ideas, sharper positioning, and how to champion brave thinking even when the room pushes back. Nearly a decade of posting myself on the internet comes with its fair share of criticism (as you can imagine). So it felt surreal to be on that stage today, talking about how taking risks is exactly what helped me break through, first as a content creator, and now as a business owner. I’ve seen the marketing world from both sides, brand and creator. As you can imagine I’ve learnt more than my fair share along the way. But the thing I kept coming back to today? Community. It’s the heart of everything I do and honestly one of the most incredible parts of my life. Getting to meet some of you in person today, to take photos, chat, and connect with new faces too it meant everything. Thank you @themarketingclub_aunz for inviting me into this room, it was game changing 💜💜 A huge thank you to my very wonderful panel for their wisdom.

I came up with the name “Models” while walking past two VW Golfs. One was a 2014 model, the other a 2024 model. I remember looking at them and thinking, if we can update cars, why can’t we update ourselves? That’s when I realised that’s exactly what I had been pursuing and successfully doing my entire life. From healing a 10 year eating disorder, anxiety, and chronic acne, to becoming deeply grounded in my self worth and confidence, I became obsessed with the idea that we are not fixed. We can rebuild ourselves. We can remodel ourselves. Fast forward to now, I coach high performing, highly overfunctioning women, speak at events, host in person experiences for my community, create content with incredible brands, and work within the fashion industry. More than anything, my business has completely updated me. Here are a few thoughts I live by… #motivation #femalefounded #founder #foundermindset

I used to be someone who performed confidence rather than someone who actually felt it. What I learned on my journey of building my self-esteem is that people don’t lack confidence, they actually lack self-trust. What changed everything for me was understanding the difference between the two and showing myself that I was reliable. I grew when I kept my word and my promises to myself.
When I showed up on hard days because I said I would.
When I knew that no matter the outcome, I wouldn’t abandon myself. Through that process, my external confidence began to thrive as I learned that I could rely on myself to look after me. The internal love and safety I built started to reflect externally. And just like anything, the more I built it, the stronger it became. Building your sense of self is no different from training a muscle, it takes repetition. Sometimes it doesn’t feel natural, but we always have the power to choose to believe in, love, value, and have confidence in ourselves x

Lately my little bubble feels like the sweetest place to be, and I’m so grateful for it. I don’t think I’ll ever get over how magical this life and this work truly are. Getting to serve brides and create feels like the biggest gift, one that keeps inspiring me and nudging me forward. I honestly hope I get to do this for the rest of my life. I don’t ever want to retire; this feels like home to me. My whole world, forever and always. #nzbusiness #nzbusinesswomen
