We are thrilled to share that John Fairbairn and Molly Durand have been nominated for Best Duo Acting in 4 LONG YEARS at the London Night Film Festival 2026!

This little film rests on the relationship between Marsha and Leo, so having their work together recognized in this way feels especially meaningful. Director David DeSantos and producer Megan Raitano guided Molly with the script and throughout the shoot, always keeping the focus on the relationship rather than the political opinion.

David carried that into his work with the actors. Molly recalls him giving her one simple note: “Now save his life.” It grounded her as Marsha and brought her straight back to the love for her brother underneath everything else. John was game for anything, and his commitment, heart, and focus were felt throughout the entire shoot. It’s rare to work with an actor’s director who knows exactly what to say to get the most honest performances, and David did that beautifully.

Huge thank you to everyone who helped bring 4 LONG YEARS to life. 🖤

Happy Weird Times Anniversary! 🎉

One year ago today, Weird Times hit the world. It’s been very interesting times since then.

There’s a new album, Ways To Be, coming soonish. In the meantime, give Weird Times another listen if you haven’t heard it lately, or especially if you’ve somehow never heard it at all.

There are still some Weird Times vinyls left. Order one from me while they last!

Stream it, listen to it, spin it, share it, whatever feels right.

We’re very excited to welcome our first guest on the #realtalkoldfriends podcast this week,@mollydurand! In addition to being a talented musician and actor, Molly has also spent over 10 years studying and practicing tarot. We chatted about how she got into it, learned a bit about the cards and had a great time learning from her. Make sure to check out her Instagram to learn more about Molly!

Thank you, Jackie Tepper, for inviting me to moderate at this year’s Dances With Films Festival at the TCL Chinese Theatre. @danceswithfilms

It was truly an honor to moderate the post-screening Q&A for Reservation Redemption, directed by Brenda Fisher (Yakama) and produced by Blake Pickens (Chickasaw). Meeting Brenda and Blake and celebrating this beautiful film with them was an honor.

The story follows Marchand “Chief” Rice (Colville), whose life seemed destined to be defined by violence and incarceration. Yet it was inside prison, after losing everything, that he began to discover who he truly was. Through the guidance of Francis Cullooyah, a Kalispel spiritual leader, Chief found his culture, his purpose, and his tribe. Walking the Red Road, he transformed not only his own life but became a leader whose example continues to inspire healing and hope in the lives of countless others.

“I treat people the way I do because of who I am, not because of who they are.” - Francis Cullooyah

The film is dedicated to the life and legacy of Francis Cullooyah (1943–2024), whose wisdom lives on through every person he touched.

Thank you, Brenda and Blake, for trusting me with this conversation and for sharing a story that reminds us that when we know who we are and where we belong, one transformed life can create a ripple that changes many others. ❤️🎬

I’ve worked every single day for two months straight on this 4 bedroom 4 bath, beautiful mid century modern home up on Laurel canyon near Mulholland, and it will be listed by the agent as soon as mercury goes DIRECT ;);) This has been very fun to design and very hard to project manage lol. Im exhausted. I will happily be working on more apartments and renovations as well as several music projects and always pointing forward. I’m giving this house, my absolute all, and I trust the perfect owners will find this to be a harmonious home. If you need a listing agent or if you are a buyer looking to own give me a call. I am an agent and a designer and project manager…although the PM part I may retire soon ;) #buildahome #harmonioushome
