We refuse to capitalize off our culture while disassociating from its realities. We refuse to stand by as our communities move through hardship. ⚔️

Our launch was not meant to just celebrate the Philippines. It also serves as an act of remembrance, solidarity, and love.

This weekend was a dream.
Saturday I held my first postpartum group, and Sunday I spent the day surrounded by Filipinas — birth workers, midwives, and mamas — learning about ancestral birthing rituals and postpartum healing.

Shoutout to all the strong Filipinas who are intentional about remembering our ancestry — especially in birth and postpartum spaces.

For a long time, I didn’t know if these traditions still existed or if colonization had erased them. Being in this community reminded me that they’re still here — alive, beautiful, and powerful.

It makes the work I do feel even more meaningful — rooted in something deeper and connected to the collective care that mothers everywhere deserve. 🇵🇭🌾

Special shoutout to @mamasoltribe @nativesol for creating this space for our community. 🤍
