Excited to share Morgan and I have been invited to speak at @essencefest as we take audiences behind the scenes of @funnyfeelingsmovie!

We’ll be discussing the journey of bringing this film to life, from development and production to the lessons we’ve learned as independent producers, and what it takes to tell stories that connect with audiences.

It’s a privilege to be part of a festival that continues to champion Black creatives and celebrate the next generation of storytellers. We’re looking forward to sharing our experience, connecting with fellow filmmakers, and continuing the conversation around independent cinema.

Celebrating you is genuinely one of my favorite things to do. You don't ask for much because all you ever want is time with us, our family, and our people. But you deserve SO much more, and yesterday was a little proof of that 🥹

A special edition of Scene & Heard Film Club brought us to Miami, and what a night it was. We were honored to host a celebration and mixer alongside @rodfather_productions in support of the world premiere of @funnyfeelingsmovie at @americanblackfilmfestival.
