‎To the glory of God, I am deeply grateful for the privilege to serve as the Sign Language Interpreter to God’s servant, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, during today’s October Thanksgiving Service.
‎
‎Today’s message, “Acceptable Service,” was deep, timely and inspiring. It reminded me that I am created for a purpose, and that purpose must be fulfilled.
‎
‎As I serve through Sign Language, I pray that my service to God will never be in vain, but will always be acceptable before Him. 🙏🏽
‎
‎Thank You, Almighty God, for the grace to see the first Sunday of October 2026 and for yet another opportunity to serve You and make a difference.
‎
‎All glory belongs to God! 🙌

🤟🏽 INCLUSION HAS A LANGUAGE — AND WE’RE MAKING SURE EVERYONE IS HEARD.

At RISE Summit 2026, inclusion means creating a space where communication is accessible and everyone can participate in the conversation.

Our Sign Language Interpretation Team will be available at the summit, helping to make the conversations, insights and experiences shared on stage more accessible to the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

Because From Cradle to Contribution means creating opportunities for everyone to learn, engage, communicate and contribute.

A few days late, but I still wanted to share this.

We trained a model on a Nigerian Sign Language dataset we created, and it reached 99% accuracy.

I’ve been working on integrating the model into an EdTech platform that would make learning Nigerian Sign Language easier and help bridge the communication barrier between the wider community and sign language users.

The project is still a work in progress, but I’m excited about where it could go.

As we continue building, we’ll be looking to work with Nigerian Sign Language teachers and people who want to contribute to what we’re building. If that sounds like something you’d be interested in being part of, I’d love to hear from you.

Happy belated International Day of Sign Languages. ❤️

Still in the mood of the International Week of the Deaf and International Day of Sign Languages!

We’re bringing back beautiful memories from Signers Hangout 3.0, where we stepped out for an awareness walk to celebrate Deaf culture, raise awareness, and honour the power of sign language.

Every step, every sign, every connection - a reminder that inclusion begins when we choose to communicate.🤟🏽

Today, we celebrate the International Day of Sign Languages. 🤟🏽💚

Language is more than spoken words. It is connection, expression, understanding and the ability to participate fully.

At RISE Summit 2026, we are continuing the conversation on inclusion — from cradle to contribution. And what better way to share this invitation than through sign language?

Because inclusion means creating spaces where everyone can communicate, participate, contribute and be heard.

Watch our invitation in sign language and join us at RISE Summit 2026.

Today, we celebrate sign language, Deaf people, and the right to be included.

For us at Observer Signs Initiative, this day is more than just a celebration. It is a reminder of why we keep showing up, signing, learning, educating, and building a community where everyone feels seen and valued.

The theme, “Declaring Deaf People’s Human Rights,” speaks to something very important: Deaf people deserve the same rights, opportunities, access, respect, and dignity as everyone else.

We believe inclusion starts when we stop seeing sign language as a barrier and start seeing it as a language, a culture, and a bridge that connects people.
So today, and every day, let’s choose to learn.
Let’s choose to understand.
Let’s choose to include. 🤟🏽

Happy International Day of Sign Languages! 💜
Here’s to same language, more inclusion, and a brighter future.
