Nature is the original algorithm. And Markos Kay @mrk.ism is rewriting its code.

What if we could watch entirely new forms of life emerge, evolve, and transform before our eyes?

In his generative art series, Markos Kay explores the invisible forces of nature, using computational processes to create synthetic life forms that seem to grow, mutate, and evolve.

Working at the intersection of art, science, and technology, Kay transforms the hidden worlds of molecular biology and particle physics into mesmerizing digital landscapes.

His internationally recognized practice has been featured at Ars Electronica, ArtScience Museum Singapore, MAXXI in Rome, and the Museum of Contemporary Digital Art, among others.

At IOGINALITY, we’re fascinated by artists who push the boundaries of digital creation, revealing new ways to experience the natural world through technology.

When algorithms become ecosystems, and computation becomes a form of life.

Most open calls aren’t worth your application fee. These four are.

We went through more than twenty October calls and threw out the ones that charge you to be seen, the ones already closed, and the ones nobody could trace to a real organiser.

What’s left: a fair in Dubai, a ministry in Rome, a gallery in New York and the screens of Times Square.

Where to apply 👇

Art Dubai Digital 2027 · Final call, 9 Oct (galleries & studios)
application.artdubai.ae

Latent Spaces by @mrk.ism takes you into a journey through digital environments inspired by quantum physics, molecular biology, and artificial life, each unfolding across four interconnected spaces sharing different aspects of our life:

Formation Space - Witness the birth of life itself

Complexity Space - Enter unseen ecosystems beyond imagination.

Agent Space - Explore the emergence of self and consciousness.

Breathing Space - Film calm among multi-dimensional beings in a sanctuary of stillness.

Signal Space wins at Prix Numix 2026. 🏆
Prix Numix is Canada’s leading award for digital creativity — and this year, Signal Space was recognized in the International Exhibition category, competing alongside projects from across the globe.
What started as a permanent home for immersive art in the heart of Prague — light, sound, code, and the artists who master them — is now being seen and celebrated internationally.
Deep thanks to:
→ Our artists: Playmodes, Shohei Fujimoto, Quayola, Onformative, Ondřej Zunka, Zach Lieberman, Marcos Kay, Nohlab
→ Our integration partner AV Media
→ Our design partner Preciosa
→ The City of Prague
→ And the entire Signal team who makes this place run
This is yours too.

Cities are saturated with signals. Very few are designed to hold meaning.

I’m proud (and a bit shy) to share my first curatorial large-scale digital art exhibition, launched across 2000 screens in Dubai and finally in London — two cities emblematic of speed, density, and continuous transformation.

The Beauty of Impermanence as a Generative Condition explores how nature, belief, and cosmology are reinterpreted through computation. Here, impermanence becomes a generative force — expressed through evolving forms, repetition, and systems in constant transformation. Rather than static images, the works unfold over time — reflecting a world shaped by speed, networks, and continuous change.

This exhibition brings together 14 brilliant artists from across the world, each contributing distinct approaches to generative and time-based practices.

Several works have already been acquired, marking an important milestone for the platform and the artists involved.

Thank you @ioginality for the invitation and trust, @elevisionmedia for the opportunity.

Part II coming soon.

IOGINALITY on the big screens. Again!

Our works from the new exhibition “The Edge of the Observable — The Beauty of Impermanence as a Generative Condition”

They are now live on the main @elevisionmedia screens in Dubai.

We’re honestly blown away. And proud. Really proud. Huge thanks to Rébia Naim @emergingscene for this opportunity!

This show explores impermanence as a generative force — where nature, belief, and memory are translated into code, data, and evolving visual systems.

Featuring artists:
Ariuna Bulutova | @aryunasong
Markos Kay | @mrk.ism
Jamie Scott | @invisiblejam
Bruce | @canvas.51

Curator:
Veronika Kandaurova | @werona

Catch it live in Dubai — and follow the exhibition online on IOGINALITY.io

Artpoint brings new digital artworks to Veepee’s headquarters. 🌇

An outdoor screen transforms the façade of Veepee’s Saint-Denis campus into a creative landmark - a canvas for a wide range of artistic voices, visible to over 7 million people every month driving along the A1 highway. Where architecture meets digital art, and a building becomes a statement. ✨

A look back at more recent exhibitions, here is a selection of who has been lighting up Veepee’s façade - The Brigadoon Dispatch, Marios Kay, Elsa Carvalho, Tamsin Smyth, Vixxuals and Qing Tian 💖
