I had to share a few fantastic snaps of the new @gshock_casio_official CasioNaut taken by @georgiajanegriffiths and @mrshepherdson this week, ahead of its global - and massively anticipated - release. It was pretty special the team got an early look at these watches, and if the reception over the last 30 hours has been anything to go by, Casio’s only challenge is going to be keeping them in stock over the next few months. After the release of the Oshinobi secret watch last week, @toledanoandchan isn’t slowing down and has just dropped two new variants of the b/1: the Dazzle and the diamond-dialled Double Dazzle.

Inspired by dazzle camouflage - the bold, contrasting geometric lines applied to Allied WWI ships to disguise their shape, speed and direction from U-boats - the two new references are some of the most eye-catching releases of the year.

The dial, case, and integrated bracelet are engraved, frosted, and brushed (plus 350 diamonds on the Double Dazzle) to create the visually striking surface textures, while inside is the same Sellita SW100 we know from the regular versions of the b/1.

The pair arrive as a limited edition of 200 pieces (188 Dazzles and just 12 Double Dazzles), and are set to go on sale later this month. @mrshepherdson has more at hodinkee.com.au

@seikowatchofficial has given its range-topping Marinemaster the Save the Ocean treatment and, for the first time in that collection, it’s got an eye-catching green dial. The HBF003J borrows its sunray dial colour from coastal mangrove forests, which is framed by a black ceramic bezel and finished with a pink gold-tone seconds hand in.

It’s cased in the same 42.6mm of steel we know from the standard model, and inside you’ll find the Grand Seiko-derived 8L45 with a three-day power reserve. If that wasn’t enough, the bracelet also finally gets the a fan-favourite push-button micro-adjust.

Limited to 900 numbered pieces as a boutique-only special edition, it’ll arrive from November with an RRP of A$5,700 (the same as the non-limited version).

WHAT’S ON THE WRIST? @mrshepherdson is wearing his @omega Constellation Day-Date (Ref. 396.1070) from the 1980s, which is known among collectors as “The Owl” thanks to the day and date subdials that look a little like the eyes of a nocturnal bird of prey. The stainless steel case measures a super-wearable 35mm in diameter and an ultra-thin 6.5mm in thickness, which, when combined with the clasp that extends when opened, makes for a supremely comfortable watch on the wrist. Seiko's "Incredibly Specialised Watch Exhibition" has returned for a second edition, which has made its way around the globe and is now in Australia, with the watches being exhibited at Seiko's Sydney boutique on George Street until Thursday 24th September 2026!

This playful project sees Seiko let its designers let off some steam by exploring watch concepts entirely off the beaten path: this edition is themed around "watches that 99% of people don't need", which hints at how quirky some of these concept watches are. Small watches and jump hours are two of the defining trends of 2026, and @bremontwatches just ticked off both with the arrival of a new 35mm Terra Nova Jumping Hour lineup. Spanning open-dial and closed-case versions, the range also includes two limited editions with Bremont’s frosted steel treatment, including a pink-dialled version whose numerals are printed in pink Super-LumiNova that glows green. WHAT'S ON THE WRIST? Japanese architect Tadao Ando has spent a career placing giant green apple sculptures outside his buildings, and the Cauny Ando (following several sold-out collaborations with Bulgari) is the first watch he’s designed in full. Shaped as a perfectly symmetrical, lugless pebble in green-coated steel, its 37.5mm case is topped by a domed sapphire mirrored in the caseback, with white hands cut as an apple’s stem and leaf.
