✨Nascence✨opens next week May 16th 5-8pm at @meganmulrooneygallery
Thank you to all my friends and family that have helped me with this show. Thank you for all the late night visits watching me glaze, for everyone that visited and gave me feedback, for building pedestals, for helping pack pieces, for buying my last minute iron oxide~ I am truly so lucky to have my community. And thank you to all the land stewards, educators, herbalists, and gardeners for taking the time to sit with me and talk about gardening as an act of revolution and resistance. This is just the beginning!

🌿🍋🍵THIS SATURDAY!!! 🌿🍋🍵

✨I’ve (me, fino) been nestled in between the Verdugo Foothills and Angeles Crest for the past week at @sayerstujunga part of a residency program @nocanyonhills has organized bringing artists to the area to connect with place. 🌀

🌿🌿 it’s nettle season around here and the lymphatic nutrient rich spring green is the perfect activator to stimulate as @shmivy_shmanderson put it “FLUSH THE SYSTEM” in a literal and figurative sense. so as my final day as a resident i organized a little nettle soup & mud pie pop up with the geniuses on the tujunga compound. 🧚🏼✨

🦋There will be 🌿🍋ANTI OPPRESSION NETTLE PALMERS LEMONADE STAND 🍋🌿to raise money for mutual aid efforts, (ty @giakelsyjones for the lemon donation ! And @shop_w3b_st4r nettle patch! ) @mypartyfowl eggs, banner making by @muddyheaven - there’s a youth march the following day so come post up and make signs with us. 🎨🖌️

🌿🍋🍵Starts at noon ends at 4 - short but sweet. Come play.🌿🍋🍵

🌿 hanging out at @sayerstujunga , lucky to have an opportunity to take to TRAVERSE RANGE as a resident in the angeles crest foothills - a part of the @nocanyonhills effort - connecting artist with landscape and vice versa. it’s good to be here 💚

💚🍃 our struggles intertwined have become an “activist” cliche overtime but only because it is true. the way we treat the environment directly reflects how we are able to treat each other. we see the effects, we feel the rage grief fear madness… yes the struggles are truly interconnected because everything is.

🍃thinking of something to do saturday at sayers to mark the end of my little moment here, reading researching walking being with the mountain waters and also witnessing the world at large…. was thinking nettle-lemonade-palmers to raise money for anti-🧊 herbal efforts in minnesota … wanna come? 💚
