It’s never just about the workout. 💪 It’s about changing lives, building confidence, creating friendships and bringing people together. As a coach, there’s nothing better than seeing people push past what they thought was possible, encourage each other, share a laugh and enjoy the process. We train hard, we have fun, and we grow stronger together. Because at the end of the day, we’re not just building fitter people. We’re building a community. 🔥 #CrossFit #StrongerTogether #CommunityThroughFitness #MoreThanFitness #CoachingWithPurpose

CREATINE: ARE YOU GETTING THE FULL BENEFIT? 🧠💪🏼 Creatine is one of the most researched supplements in sports nutrition, and its benefits go well beyond building muscle. 💪🏼 MUSCLE | STRENGTH & PERFORMANCE Taking 3–5 g of creatine monohydrate daily helps saturate your muscles’ creatine stores, supporting strength, power, exercise performance and muscle growth when combined with resistance training. Creatine also increases intracellular hydration, drawing water into muscle cells. This is a normal, beneficial part of muscle hydration and cellular function, not the same as unwanted water retention or bloating. ⚡ MONOHYDRATE vs HCl Both deliver creatine, but there’s a difference in solubility. Creatine monohydrate is the most extensively researched form, although some individuals experience digestive discomfort or bloating, particularly with larger single doses. Creatine HCl is significantly more water soluble and may be easier on digestion for some people, although research hasn’t conclusively demonstrated better gastrointestinal tolerance. 🧠 BRAIN | COGNITIVE PERFORMANCE Emerging research suggests creatine may also support brain function, particularly memory and cognitive performance during periods of sleep deprivation or mental stress. While 3–5 g daily is well established for muscle performance, some cognitive studies have investigated higher doses of 10–20 g. Creatine isn’t just about building stronger muscles. Its potential benefits for the brain are becoming increasingly interesting. #Creatine #MuscleTech #SportsNutrition #StrengthAndPerformance #CognitiveHealth

Intra or post-workout? Are you timing your supplements right? 💪🏻 🔹 GLUTAMINE — Gut & immune support 🔹 EAA+ — Essential amino acids for muscle protein synthesis 🔹 CREATINE — Strength, power & performance Three supplements. Three different roles. And timing isn’t everything. Remember: Consistency, good nutrition, training and recovery come first. Save this for your next training day 👊🏻 #muscletech #strengthtraining #vacation #mozambique

Creatine monohydrate is mostly talked about as a 5g a day supplement, but I prefer taking 10g. I train a lot, so supporting strength and repeated high intensity work matters to me. I’m also interested in the emerging research on creatine and cognition. The carbs and taste are a bonus as I’m also trying to get more calories in, and this makes it easy. 😋
