Sprint Night at the Hill had its season finale to wrap of season 2 for the JXN Run Club.

Yesterday coach Brewster @coachbrewster_ led the runners through its final hill workout at the museum trail @museumtrail with a warm up mile , stretches and hill sprints workout which consisted of 14 reps.

Once they finished business on the hill , @timothyorey had the opportunity to have Green Ghost @greenghosttacos in action. They were ready to rock and roll by serving tacos and more to refuel them after a great session.

Sprint Night at the Hill will return March 2027. You don’t want to miss season 3.

Thank you to @jxnrunclub , Museum Trail and Green Ghost for making this season finale one for the books.

Another amazing year of impact for heart health, made possible by our wonderful sponsors, supporters, and community partners!

It was inspiring to gather for Young at Heart: Gather on the Green at the Mississippi Museum of Art’s Art Garden, one of the many public spaces and cultural destinations that will be connected through the Museum Trail.

This year’s event celebrated Jackson Heart Foundation’s continued investment in public health infrastructure, including the Capitol Green Connector in Downtown Jackson, along with wellness programming, research, and education focused on creating healthier lifestyles.

A special thank you to Chef Chaz Lindsay and Chef Joe Cravens for an incredible four-course dinner, to @msmuseumart for a beautiful setting, and to @freshcutofjxn and @davainelighting for helping make the evening so memorable.

As we look ahead, extending the Museum Trail through the Arts District is one of our major goals for the coming year. This next phase will strengthen connections between downtown cultural destinations, businesses, neighborhoods, and public spaces while creating even more opportunities for walking, biking, recreation, and everyday movement.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, braced the weather, and continues to believe in building a healthier, more connected community in Jackson!

Today on World Heart Day, we’re celebrating the places that help make healthy living part of everyday life.

Jackson Heart Foundation invests in public health infrastructure like the Museum Trail and the Keith Haring Fitness Court, creating free and accessible opportunities for movement, recreation, and connection.

These spaces are part of a broader effort to make heart health more approachable and connected to the way we live every day. This Thursday evening, we look forward to gathering with our sponsors and guests at Young at Heart: Gather on the Green to celebrate the people, partnerships, and projects helping move this work forward.
