Some details about Natalie’s ring which have special significance to our relationship:

* The band of the ring has the Golden Ratio engraved, a sign that has meant much to the two of us primarily because it is proof for intelligent design in nature.
* The outside of the band has beaded edges— a nod to the first “ring” I ever gave Natalie.
* The ring features seven diamonds to represent God’s number of completion (in the same way Natalie completes me).
* I proposed on 8/13. Nerds will recall this is the seventh ratio in the Fibonacci Sequence (which creates the Golden Ratio). Again, God’s number of completion.
* Hidden on the inside of the band is a small amethyst. Purple is our favorite color.
* Lastly, the box is made from stained glass. Not only do we both have an affinity for stained glass art, but I also wrote an instrumental piece at the beginning of our relationship titled Natalie’s Stained Glass. It was Natalie who told me to complete it. This ring and its box are an embodiment of that piece.

It was my great joy and pleasure to design this ring for my love.

I praise God for Natalie and for the story He has written for us. I am so thrilled to marry you, Natalie. You complete my life in the ways you love me and lead me closer to Christ. The true friend I have found in Jesus has given me a forever best friend.
