I met Howard when we shared a stage in San Francisco as part of the Resident Electronic Music Monthly. His set was mind-blowing, involving visuals created from a highly modified realtime 3D render of himself playing his music. It was a reminder that our future is not best served by flying cars, but personal ingenuity, shared with a lucky community. In the months since we shared that stage last year, I kept running into him at shows, and we are finally able to bring him to perform at Column!

Snoww Frequencies Vol.6 — First Anniversary · Part 1

A year ago, Snoww Frequencies began as a space for sound, experimentation, and connection.

Six editions later, we return to a place where nature, animals, people, and electronic sound can exist together for one afternoon.

Vol.6 marks the first anniversary of the series — not as an ending, but as the beginning of its next chapter.

We started Column @Goodkarmasj becuase Bob had a space, liked the idea, and we wanted a place for live electronic music in our own downtown. It’s now been three years, and our gradual carving out has brought a wonderful community into full relief! Come join us on September 16 as we celebrate our three years with a variety of microsets from some of the people who have really made this special! Note that this month’s gathering is on the third Wednesday instead our usual second! #liveelectronicmusic #analogsynth #modularsynth #dawless #downtownsanjose
