DOCTORAAA 👩🏽‍⚕️👁️✨

It’s been a long journey and at times it truly felt impossible. I’ll forever be grateful for my family, friends, partner, and mentors who believed in me every step of the way.

As I celebrate becoming a doctora, I’m reminded to stay grounded in my why. I’m committed to keep opening doors for those who come after me. I can’t wait to keep paying it forward. 💛💙

I’m going to be an ophthalmologist!! 🌟 💫

This has been a long time coming and it wouldn’t have been possible without the support from my family, friends, my partner and of course mentors. From not knowing that ophthalmology existed, to @aaoeye VISION program giving me the confidence and tools to explore ophthalmology (thanks YouTube). I will never stop being grateful for mentors who see me. Huge thanks for all the guidance and support to AAO VISION and the Rabb-Venable Program. 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽

Thank you so much to @ccpedu, @nmfonline, and @stpaulsschoolnh for inviting me to be a part of incredible evenings, weeks, and reflections!

And thank you to @cnn for letting me share parts of my experience with students, friends, and more!
