In 2019, ride-hailing for women in Egypt was nearly impossible, and very few women could ride a scooter. @nouranalyfarouk, built @dosybikes to change that.

Nouran is the Founder & CEO of Dosy, 2026 Global Good Fund Fellow and a finalist for WOMEN IN TECH ® Global’s Most Impactful Initiative Award - MENA region. Through her platform, 3,000+ women earn as drivers, instructors, and delivery riders.
Swipe for her story.

Follow along every Friday to meet a new founder.

🇮🇳🌍 A spontaneous act of compassion. A historic first for Planet Caretakers India!

What started as a simple idea became the very first cleanup by Planet Caretakers India, in collaboration with the Satyarthi Movement for Global Compassion (SMGC). As a Satyarthi Fellow, I was happy to bring the spirit of compassionate leadership into action through this initiative.

At 7:15 AM, 15 people came together - local staff, SMGC team members, Satyarthi Fellows, and the Founder of Planet Caretakers - united by one simple purpose: to care for the environment we all share.

🌿 30 minutes. 15 people. 4 bags of trash collected.

But the story doesn’t end there.

The Fellows and the SMGC staff had conversations on how discarded trash could turn into creativity, awareness, and about our shared responsibility to protect the planet.

Because environmental action isn’t only about removing trash. It’s about cultivating awareness, strengthening connections, and inspiring a sense of belonging and responsibility toward all forms of life.

This is Compassionate Environment as a domain of action, not just a concept.

Because compassion shouldn’t stop at humanity.

We share this planet. We don’t own it. 🌍

A small action. A meaningful beginning. And hopefully, the first of many for Planet Caretakers India. 💚

When we started 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, our goal was simple: create a space where real ecosystem knowledge meets execution.

Across eight impactful editions, we have brought together startup founders, industry experts, and ecosystem leaders from around the world to tackle the biggest hurdles in building a sustainable business.

We intentionally select speakers who bring real, practical insights to the table—the kind of wisdom you only gain by actively building in the trenches.

Don't just take our word for it. Read these feedbacks from past attendees like Ayomide, Raghvendra, Josh, and Felix.

Next week, we return with Edition Nine.

We are hosting 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗢𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗷𝗲 (𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿, @doctorontap) as he breaks down "𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸."

If you want to experience the value of Founders Thursday for yourself, save your seat today.

Meet Nouran Farouk!

We continue introducing our 2026 Fellows🥹

Nouran is a physician and social entrepreneur, and the Founder & CEO of Dosy — the first women-led mobility platform in Egypt and the MENA region. Her mission: reimagining how women move safely and independently, by tackling the everyday barriers of safety, affordability, and access in transportation.

Nouran founded Dosy after living through these barriers herself — from unsafe, male-dominated ride-hailing services to unreliable public transport. Today, she’s building a safer, more inclusive mobility ecosystem in Egypt, while creating real economic opportunities for women as instructors and drivers along the way.

Welcome, Nouran — we’re proud to have you in the 2026 cohort within Global Fellows in Courage!

@nouranalyfarouk
Exactly two years later, we get to reconnect again, this time more intentionally.

It’s so great to learn about your vision for Dosy, and I am rooting for you, as I can’t wait to see all that Dosy births.
