POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🫟RANTO-THERAPY HANGOUT

Your space, my space, our space — to connect, chat, express, emote, rant, release, and relieve yourself of anything and everything.

Saturday, October 17, 2026 | 6–7 PM IST
On Zoom with Nu, Rifath and Ritash

This space is being held ahead of the Asia Regional Convening, offering us a chance to come together, connect, and make room for whatever we might be carrying, feeling, thinking, or wanting to let out.

A space where you can laugh, cry, sigh, shout, or simply sit with whatever is coming up for you, without having to explain, justify, or make sense of any of it.

The growing list of ways to just be: scratch, massage, gently press or squeeze any part of yourself or anything else, pull or twirl your hair, bite your nails, inhale and exhale air or any substance, drink, munch silently or noisily or both, and do whatever helps you feel present in your own space.

Express yourself in whatever way feels right. Share through text, voice, music, verse, doodles, lines, colours, actions, dance, movement, or silence, because expression doesn’t have to follow a particular format or make sense to anyone else.

Agenda-free ranting means just ranting about anything. Bring your frustrations, random thoughts, overwhelming feelings, unfinished stories, everyday annoyances, big questions, or absolutely nothing in particular, with no pressure to find solutions, no expectation to be articulate, and no need to hold back.

Where we can connect without performing, listen without fixing, express without judgement, and make room for whatever shows up.

Come as you are, say what you need to say, feel what you need to feel, or simply be.

🌼Dear artivists and co-dreamers,

We’re inviting you to join us for an Artivism Café on Friday, 25 September, from 2:00–3:00 PM IST.

This will be a small, informal space to come together with artists, activists, cultural workers and storytellers from across Asia to explore Artivism, Memories and Community Wisdom.

We want to think about the knowledge and wisdom that movements hold, especially the intricate forms that often remain unseen. What do communities learn through organising, surviving, caring, resisting and creating? What is carried through oral histories, songs, rituals, relationships, language, memory and everyday practices?

This doesn’t need to be a tangible body of work. It could be an idea, a piece of wisdom, a creative practice, an oral history, a song, a ritual, or something that carries forward the memory of a movement.

After all, art can be anything that brings about change, or shows us possibilities for a future that is not here yet.

We’ll explore what stories and forms of artivism are being overlooked, what movement knowledge remains unseen, and what we might want to build together across Asia.

The conversation will feed into @globalartivism‘s Asia Regional Convening and Global Artivism Month in November, while helping us think about how the Global Artivism network can become a platform to visibilise your work and create possibilities for connection and collaboration.

The agenda will be shared shortly. For now, bring your stories, questions, community wisdom and dreams.

Friday, 25 September
2:00–3:00 PM IST

"What does intimacy look like, feel like, move like, when we think about it in terms of crip time? Crip time allows us to listen to our body and honor its pace." - Nu

We sat down with Nu to talk about disability justice, digital intimacy, and access and honestly? We're still thinking about this line.

Nu has spent years building communities of care and collective joy for queer and disabled folks, and if this quote hit you the way it hit us, wait until you hear the rest.

The full conversation is live soon. Stay tuned. 👀

It's been 365 days. We're not going to pretend otherwise. 😅

Last #WorldSexualHealthMonth, we launched Through the Eyes of a Pleasure Activist, a series about the humans doing the deeply necessary work of putting pleasure back into sexual health, advocating for antiableist, queer, feminist, decolonial and anticapitalist approaches to the sector, and of questioning the very categories of 'health' and 'sexuality' and the work they do together. And then....well, we got busy saving the world in other ways.
Sorry / not sorry 😘

We're back with Episode 02, and it was worth the wait.

Meet Nu (they/them) - trans/non-binary disabled person advocating for pleasure and the founder of Revival Disability India @revivaldisabilityindia
Swipe to meet them properly - their story, their politics, and their passions.
The full interview drops soon. Follow so you don't miss it. 🔥

Setiap tubuh berhak atas pilihan!

Every Body Has the Right to Choose!

Reproductive justice can never be complete without fulfilling the sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of persons with disabilities. Let’s discuss how disability justice and reproductive justice are interconnected by revisiting the realities, experiences, and challenges faced by persons with disabilities in asserting their bodily autonomy.

Through a cross-country collaboration with Revival Disability India and Perhimpunan Jiwa Sehat, we invite you to learn together about the intersections of disability, bodily autonomy, and the right to safe abortion within the contexts of each country.

This session will provide English–Indonesian interpretation and sign language interpretation.

At Sarbari, communication does not always come through speech. It can be found in a song, words written on a wall, a gesture, a movement, a refusal, or a way of expressing dissent.

For women who have spent much of their lives in survival mode, these forms of expression can become their own language, shaped by their experiences, needs, emotions and ways of making themselves heard.

Our work is not to make everyone communicate in the same way, but to notice, understand and make space for the many ways people express themselves.

Sometimes, listening means learning a language that was never spoken.

Every morning, Fatema and Pooja get ready for work together.

For many people with psychosocial disabilities, access to meaningful livelihoods can be life-changing. Work is not only about earning an income. It can offer routine, confidence, friendship, purpose, and the opportunity to participate in community on your own terms.

But employment alone is not enough.

Disability justice asks us to look beyond hiring and towards the workplaces we create. Are they patient enough to teach? Flexible enough to embrace different ways of communicating? Safe enough for people to learn, grow, and be valued for their strengths?

A truly inclusive workplace is one where people are not expected to fit a single mould to belong.

At Iswar Sankalpa, Fatema and Pooja’s journey reminds us that meaningful livelihoods are built through opportunity, trust, and communities that believe in people’s potential.
