I had an amazing time presenting a paper on Music Editing, Hidden Labour, and Streaming Aesthetics in High-End TV at the 2026 Music and the Moving Image conference at @nyuscreenscoring NYC, before flying to Dublin to share it again at Music and Media’s Directions and Aesthetics of the Digital Era at @ucdschoolofmusic .

My music editing conference world tour concludes in Manchester next month at @rncmlive for MSMI/SoS 2026! 😅

Looking forward to continuing the conversation around music, sound, and the moving image!

A little delayed, but I finally received my nomination plaque from the Marvin Hamlisch International Music Awards! 💫 
The piece was written during my time in New York and I still remember the last-minute rush to get everything submitted before midnight haha. It was also really meaningful to later hear the piece brought to life by the NYU Orchestra (thanks @nyuscreenscoring!) so I figured I’d put all these memories together in one post.

On June 6, 2026, I put on one of the biggest Screen Scoring concert of my life, surrounded by mentors, classmates, and friends new and old.
It’s wild to think that just two years ago, this was nothing more than a crazy dream. I mean, how did I actually get to conduct my own 50-piece orchestra and 8-piece choir to a full house at NYU?! (Shoutout to Professor Ron for putting up with me bothering him for two years straight 😂).
It feels insane that I managed to “kidnap” all my favorite teachers and friends to go on this beautiful, chaotic journey with me. Through all the ups and downs, I couldn’t have done it without my incredible team, Waves and Staves, and the countless family and friends who came out to support.

academic-year-in-review 🤓📚🎶

Between my time in the @nyuscreenscoring and @nyyouthsymphony programs this year, I got to write a lot of fun stuff!! Thank you to every teacher, mentor, peer, and collaborator who encouraged and challenged my creativity, I am so grateful to have these spaces to learn and experiment. One more year to go @ nyu.. 👀

“Linear momentum” from alll the way back at the end of 2024 w/ @budapestscoring!!

This short piece was for an orchestration assignment & has some fun experiments in texture and extended technique. (at one point I called the latter section a “timbral soup” 😆)

Excited to share some of my recording session with Musiversal for “Dance Of Death,” a piece heavily inspired by the music of one of my idols, Austin Wintory, who I had the privilege of finally meeting at the Game Developers Conference back in March when I wrote the piece.
