😂😭 Sometimes, being a sign language interpreter means trying so hard to maintain a professional face while your brain is screaming, “WAIT! WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!”

Because some speakers will say things that make you break character for a second. 😂 And sometimes, you’re still trying to understand the whole point of the message while wondering how you’re supposed to interpret it faithfully.

At this point, you’re not just interpreting; you’re processing, questioning, and trying to make sense of everything without letting your facial expression betray you. 😭😂

This profession no be child’s play at all! 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️

Fellow interpreters, una don experience this one before? 😂👇🏽

From the studio to your screen! 🎥🤟🏽
‎
‎What a beautiful experience being on @wakeupnigeriatvce on TVC to talk about Sign Language, Deaf inclusion, accessibility and the importance of communication for everyone.
‎
‎A huge thank you to the amazing TVC Communications / WakeUpNigeria team for the warm welcome and for creating a platform where Sign Language and Deaf awareness could take centre stage.
‎
‎And a very special thank you to @tonye_f for always having me in mind and for making this opportunity possible. I’m truly grateful for your support and trust. 🙏🏽
‎
‎This is why I do what I do — breaking communication barriers, creating understanding and bringing accessibility to life, one sign at a time. 🤟🏽✨
‎
‎Watch, share and let’s keep the conversation going!
