A few shots from Day 2 of the @wbocc_champs East Coast Championship.

Day 2 welcomed the OC1, OC2 and Surf Skis to Wrightsville Beach with light rain and heavy cloud cover. The weather may have kept my drone grounded but not the stoke. Over 60 boats showed up to compete in the open ocean Graveyard course and the scenic 3 Island course.

Congratulations to all the participants! And safe travels home to everyone from out of town! 🤙

More photos to come! The entire galley will soon be available on the race website.

That’s a wrap on day 2 and the 5th year of the East Coast Championship. Mahalo to all who participated and put up with at least three out of four seasons over 48 hours. That’s one thing we love about outdoor water sports. If you don’t like unpredictable, you can always do indoor pickleball. 🤪
For the record, these are just my iPhone pictures. Please stay tuned for professional photos from Melissa Luther!!

Bay Bridge Paddle! After signing up on a whim, I had a great time on your 9-mile course!!! Finished at about 1:45:00 with my Hurricane which is where I was expecting for today with not as much prep. But, it was a beautiful day filled with a beautiful bridge, beautiful people, and a beautiful paddle. This will definitely be an annual one for me!
