I have new music out! ‘your heart, it pours’ featuring this gorgeous photo/print/painting by @samantha.jade.art is available for your listening pleasure wherever you seek tunes, courtesy of @anxietyblanketrecords A bit about the song: You’re on a horse, and you’re galloping through a valley, but also the horse is your heart, and the valley is you. It’s a bit of an existential shrug; an acceptance. You don’t get to travel through the underworld and come out the other side unscathed - no way. Your shape will be different, transformed. But what can you do, huh? Recorded at Studio Studio Dada, and in a bedroom, and in a Winnebago in a ghost town (thank you @ohno.cisco) Featuring the following angels - @blywallentine - harmonium, bass clarinet, synth @bjacksonharp - harp @erik_louis_maloy - double bass @mahlaur - flute @jeffgutierrez34 - saxophone @jackinthesandbox - drums Thank you and you and you and you and you and you and you and you. And if you’ve read this far, just know I’ll be announcing some tour dates soon! Warmly :)

There are approximately 140 recognized ghost towns in Utah, but you can live in this one. Cisco has a population of two, one of them is non-profit owner Kara Bard. And Bard is giving new life to the Cisco artist residency. @ohno.cisco “Having that solitude I think really just helps artist just connect to their process and their work, or they can take their entire process and throw it out a window and know there is no judgement in that space because there's literally no one there,” said Bard. ✍️🎤📸: Diana Jones, KSL

A small town about four hours from Salt Lake, with a population of two, is home to the Cisco artist residency. Owner Kara Bard, @ohno.cisco, wants to give Utah artists an opportunity to have intentional time to create their art. Cisco is 16 miles from the closest town and from running water. Internet comes through Starlink and some electricity. “My goal for Cisco is to see it become a place for community again,” Bard said. Read more on KSL TV.com ✍️/ 📸: Diana Jones
