USAPL SE REGIONALS MEET RECAP:
Squat (3/3) - 240 kg (529 lbs) +17.5 kg ATPR
Bench (3/3) - 142.5 kg (314 lbs) +5 kg ATPR
Deadlift (2/3) - 225 kg (496 lbs) +10 kg MEET PR
TOTAL - 607.5 kg (+32.9 kg)
DOTS - 379.18 (+17.62)
4th place 100 kg juniors (20-23)

Squat - literally like nothing much else to say. to date by far my greatest squat performance and prep. figured out the tech like a block or two before the meet and it all fuckin came together for a monstrous squat PR.

Bench - honestly so surprised with how it went. about two weeks out i had been dealing with some internal soreness/stress pain in my wrist. could’ve been due to poor recovery or improper warmup. but when squats wrapped up and i was warming up for bench. i’m 100% positive that all adrenaline and energy masked the pain and allowed me to grind a fucking long ass bench.

Deadlift - oh boy. yea not too happy with this. i went into this last session just feeling wiped. i think will can agree with me on this that we had never pushed squats so hard in a comp yet so to go into deadlifts with minimal energy, definitely ran out of gas on my last attempt which bummed me the hell out big time. on top of that, i was getting red lighted for “soft-lockout” which put me in a bad mental spot with my confidence going into each pull bc i didn’t know what else to change. had a really poor mental attitude going into it and it showed on platform.

overall, still really happy with how the meet went (first taste at some really stingy refs). i will say competing in a venue with minimal AC kicked up the fatigue a bit more but training at spider with summer weather braced me for the worst. to my coach @willgogym an absolute fuckin beast at what he does, literally cannot thank you enough for pushing me through this nearly pitch perfect prep and for having the confidence in me to send it on squats. to my support group, thank you for the continuous support through this meet and the loud cheers in the crowd ❤️, literally cannot thank yall enough for sticking around for what felt like forever.

to @usapl_nc yall did an amazing job running this meet and @ares__digital for killer vids and photos.

till next time ❤️

Solid performance despite having minor injuries and not getting the best sleep. Very happy that i was able to hit depth on squats so that’s a plus. On all 3 lifts I gave it my all and that is what counts. I’m very thankful to everyone that was there to support me, especially my family for showing up despite the snow. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to be able to compete and show off the progress I have made. I’ve had a good run and had fun doing powerlifting but I will be taking a short break from powerlifting for the meantime.

FALL FESTIVAL OF POWER— 2nd in 90kg Teen III

Squat: 217.5 kg / 479.5 lbs (3/3) +20 kg meet PR
Bench: 115 kg / 253.5 lbs (2/3) +12.5 kg meet PR
Deadlift: 250 kg / 551 lbs (3/3) +30 kg meet PR
Total: 582.5 kg / 1,284 lbs @ 85.25kg
DOTS:402

Back in April at State Champs, I went 197.5 / 102.5 / 220 for a 520 kg total. This weekend I walked away with 217.5 / 115 / 250 for a 582.5 kg total adding 62.5 kg in under 6 months.

This prep tested me in every way. I had days where I doubted myself, days where I questioned if it was worth it, but also days where everything clicked and reminded me why I began doing this at all. To come in and go 8/9, to load up numbers that once felt impossible, and to walk away with such a massive total PR… I honestly still don’t have the words to describe how much everyone cares about me in my little powerlifting family.

There were moments in this meet where I was holding back tears (until the end) not because of missing lifts, but because of realizing just how far everyone in the powerlifting club has grown alongside me. Every early morning, every tough session, every lift after a 8hr shift, every doubt in my head got drowned out the second I stepped on that platform and felt alive again.

To my team y’all showed up and SHOWED OUT. The screams, the hype, the energy from warmups to the platform… I couldn’t have asked for a better crew in my corner ❤️.

SO Spencer for being patient with me, pushing me week by week even sometimes I didn’t feel like lifting, and for guiding me these past 4 months through some of the most physically and mentally challenging times of my life

This isn’t the end, not even close. Only 18 weeks till..

Special thanks to @willgogym for giving an awesome program that not only added more weight to my deadlift but made me enjoy deadlifting.

Shoutout to @_kilodee for handling me. He is a man that does well in his job. Made sure I was hydrated, feeling well, hyped me up, and made my first meet fun which led to me hitting more than what I initially was projected for a 3rd attempt.

Finally special thanks to everyone from @packpowerlifting that hyped me up when I lifted. Such a monumental moment and I enjoyed the hype of the environment. Literally the best team I could ever be a part of. I can’t wait to see what my next meet brings
