@adccuk British Open highlights. I managed to win 🥇 in my division but the biggest highlight for me was winning the bronze 🥉 medal match decisively on points by getting knee on belly and mount. When you consider that I needed help getting into mount when I started that is just crazy. Even @s.enrique_bracho wasn't quite expecting it and I left his commentary in the video 😂💙.

I've always wanted to show that I'm one of the best para athletes in this sport and in my mind that always meant pushing and challenging myself. I have lost more times than I can count but kept coming back. People always told me I was being too hard on myself, this is admittedly true but I was also told I need to wait for "fair" matches. I always knew I could close the gap though so after every loss, no matter how bad it was. I went back to the drawing board and tried to improve. The proof of that hard work is starting to come through now and it's made me so proud.

Thank you to everyone at my academy @purejiujitsu all my coaches and sparring partners as well as @s.enrique_bracho who has worked so hard with me to evolve my game plan. @casey__curls and @unorthodoxnutrition for keeping me in good shape and facilitating my progress on the mats. To my friends, family and my mum and dad who constantly support me, thank you all so much. I will get even better, count on it 🫡🔥.

Big up to @cactus_maximusjj and @a.m.ha1 for their support yesterday too 🫡.

Proud to have been part of history yesterday.

The first ever ADCC Parajiujitsu bracket, and I had the honour of competing in the opening match.

More than just a competition, this was an opportunity to showcase Parajiujitsu on one of the biggest stages in grappling.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this happen, including the organisers, athletes, coaches, supporters, and everyone who continues to champion the growth of Parajiujitsu.

Proud to have played a small part in moving our sport forward.

This is just the beginning.

Keep Showing Up.

Proper post coming soon and way too many people to thank but for now I just wanted to let everyone know that today I competed in the very first ADCC Para Division at the British Open @adccuk

I competed in 2 divisions winning gold 🥇 in my division and bronze 🥉 in the milder CP bracket against people who can walk unaided. I've now become one of the first ever ADCC Para Champions, as well as the very first ADCC double Para medalist. I made history today and that shit is pretty cool so for once I'm just gonna let it sink in and sit with it for a bit 🫡🙏🏻.

🥇🇬🇧 ADCC BRITISH PARA CHAMPION 2026!

Still trying to take it all in!

Less than a year into my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey, I stepped onto the mats today as a white belt, competing in an intermediate division alongside blue and purple belts, and came away with gold, winning every match by submission.

An incredible experience and a moment I’ll remember for a very long time.

A huge thank you to @pindimadahar and the entire team at @graciebarraholbrookscoventry for the coaching, encouragement and belief throughout this journey. A special thank you to @connormillarjj for his support and coaching matside today. Having you in my corner made a real difference.

A massive shout-out to @ksbsportstherapy for the countless hours of work behind the scenes. Living with cerebral palsy means that strength, mobility and recovery don’t always come easily, and the work we’ve put in together has been instrumental in getting me to this point.

It was also fantastic to meet the team at @parajiujitsuuk and connect with other athletes who share a passion for the sport. I’m looking forward to seeing where this journey takes us and the exciting opportunities ahead.

A month ago, I walked away from my first competition with lessons to learn. Today, I’m walking away a British Champion.

Plenty more to learn, plenty more work to do, but for now, I’m going to enjoy this one.
