Zatímco se rapová scéna už několik dekád hádá, jestli je lepší východní, nebo západní pobřeží, Money B a PMD mají jasno. Nejlepší je obě strany spojit a nechat mluvit hudbu. Ostatně tihle dva pamatují časy, kdy se battly vyhrávaly spíš kvalitou slok než počtem sledujících na Instagramu.

Když se sejdou dva veteráni, nemusí se nutně probírat cholesterol a ceny léků. Money B z Digital Underground a PMD z EPMD spojili Bay Area s Long Islandem a celé jim to produkoval spolehlivý DJ Supa Dave.

Parrish začínal jako DJ, hrál americký fotbal a během studia na Southern Connecticut State University dojížděl do New Yorku nahrávat. První demo financoval i z peněz vydělaných v pekárně.

Money B vyrůstal v rodině členů Black Panthers a s Digital Underground pomáhal budovat svět, v němž se potkávaly funk, humor a výstřednost.

Později si spolu zarapovali na „I Get Around“. Tupac mu do hitu dokonce připravil sloku, Money B ji ale odmítl a napsal vlastní. Na náladu skladby mu totiž připadala příliš drsná. Říct Pacovi „díky, napíšu si to sám“ zkrátka nepatří mezi… ➡️ vice na bbarak.cz, platí?

Fri 23 Oct - OT301
AADE: Anderworld release event
Live electronics: EBM, darkwave, electro, industrial techno
Line up: BlackBeach (live), Camy Huot (live), Omar Medina (live), Parrish Smith
Open: 22:00-03:00 hrs // Tickets: €10-13 // 18+

This night is all about becoming intimate with the heavier frequencies. Come close to interact with these live acts that know how to make a crowd move. Camy Huot, BlackBeach, Omar Medina and Parrish Smith (DJ set) will indulge your senses in the darker pleasures of live electronics. This leads to an interesting blend of live electronics, EBM, electro and technopunk.

To top things off: tonight will also be the second release party of Anderworld, a cooperative, post-capitalist record label founded in 2026 by the Amsterdam-based counterculture collective Amsterdam Alternative. With the first release of ‘Inter//Esse’ by Wilco Prinsen in June, it is now up to the dark collective BlackBeach during ADE’s celebration of electronics.

I ❤️ €URØP€. Ahead of my tour around the EU, I went to @roughtrade @roughtradeeast to pick out some of my favourite records from the cities I’ll be playing in. I can’t wait to be back in some of the best cities in the world next March!!
