It was incredibly difficult to watch Blue Zeus on Amazon Prime and see Skydog’s tremendous efforts to save our wild mustangs from slaughter. I cried, and for days afterward, I couldn’t stop thinking about those beautiful horses. I kept wondering, What can I do to help?
I started by reaching out to our dog’s foster mom and talking with other horse owners, learning everything I could about what it truly takes to care for a horse. For weeks, I visited barns, observed live training sessions, asked countless questions. Eventually, I felt ready to take the next step and submitted my application
The more I researched, the more I discovered just how many incredible people are dedicating their lives to saving and caring for wild mustangs from being eliminated. I learned about organizations where you can actually meet these horses and about programs that work with veterans experiencing PTSD, giving them a chance to help heal humans while humans help heal them.
After weeks of conversations and research, I visited Shining Dream Ranch—and that’s where I met Comet. Pasadena paw’s mom was extremely helpful and generous of her time to connect me into the equestrian centers locally.
In the second clip, you can see Comet standing beside me. He separated himself from his herd to come meet me. Somehow, we both met half way around the pen as he gently rubbed his head against my arms and stood quietly swaying his head as I spoke to him. There was a calmness between us that I can’t quite put into words.
A week later, a team was organized to bring him home. That evening, Comet was terrified to leave the trailer and enter his stall. He was frightened and unsure of everything around him.
So I went into the stall. And he followed me.
Not long after, he slowly approached me and allowed me to interact with him to gently scratch his sides and begin building a little bit of trust.
It was the beginning of something I never imagined would happen to me.
I didn’t set out to look for a mustang. Comet chose me. This is just the beginning of our journey together. Stay tune for me.

¡¡¡ 💖🤗🙏🏻 Thank God and everyone for helping me share my publication, this afternoon the dog mom was rescued, the puppy was not
found but we will continue looking for him to reunite him with his mom, now the dog mom was rescued by @buddysangelrescue, who want and willing to make a small donation to this Rescue for her care and help find a foster for her, once again, thank you all for helping me share my publication, God bless you all, pictures of her add in my post.🙏🏻🤗💖🎉 !!!

‼️🆘🙏🏻️🔴🆘️⚠️🙏🏻 Friends😥, an acquaintance of mine, just wrote to me to ask me for help to rescue 2 dogs who were reportedly abandoned at night by near of their house in an alley in Compton city, South L.A., the dogs look Doberman breed and they looks like a Mom and her puppy, the dogs are very thin😪, the person who wrote me can't take them because where she rents dont have space, I wish you could help me share my post to try to help these 2 poor dogs find a foster and Rescue for them.😪🆘️🙏🏻🆘️⚠️‼️

Umm Hi Sally and your crazy EARS!
