15K ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET IN ABUJA @pavillondining

I was very surprised to see a 15k buffet in Abuja in this economy ?? Anyway I loved it here @pavillondining located in Garki.

This buffet is every Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm, making it a perfect spot for after work hangouts with friends or solo waka. You can also network with other people.

Ps: No takeout and too much leftover food on your plate attracts extra 5k so best to take what you can finish. I highly recommend this spot.

I’ve loved purple for as long as I can remember.

Long before I knew anything about colour psychology or branding. I just knew I kept reaching for it.

Years later, I found out that purple was associated with royalty because it was one of the rarest and most expensive dyes in the ancient world… and then I found out I come from a royal family.

Which is either the most beautiful coincidence ever…

…or my ancestors have been influencing my wardrobe choices from beyond the grave 😂

Nerd Fact 📚:

The history nerd in me 🤓😭😂 loves that purple didn’t become royal because someone randomly decided it looked expensive. It became royal because making the dye was ridiculously difficult. Thousands of sea snails were needed to produce a tiny amount of Tyrian purple, so eventually only royalty and the wealthy could afford to wear it.

I’ve never really seen purple as “just a colour.”

For me, it’s become creativity.
Curiosity. Play.
A little bit of chaos.
And somehow… home.

I wore this to my last comedy show, and yes… I styled this look myself obviously and my comedy routine that night was on how every single Nigerian has Main Character Syndrome so I came to perform marking my own attendance 😤🥵🫣😭😂

I’m slowly realising that getting dressed has become part of my creative practice. Every outfit is another little experiment in colour, storytelling and becoming.

Apparently, my creative fingerprint just happens to be purple 😈💜

Now I have to know…

If your personality had one signature colour, what would it be? And don’t just tell me the colour—tell me why. I want to give you some matching symbolism and psychoanalyse you 🫣🤔😂🤣
