I recently visited Paris to see the joyful work of one of my all-time favourites, the marvellous Alexander Calder @alexandercalder_ , currently being exhibited at the incredible Frank Gehry-designed Fondation Louis Vuitton. A double whammy of joy. It is the most cohesive, full, expansive and brilliant Calder exhibition I have ever seen. From the magnificent circus film to the mobiles, sculptures and paintings, each piece brought its own beautiful sense of wit, movement and wonder. His jewellery, often made for his wife’s birthdays and celebrations, completely captured my heart. A true romantic. For me, it also brought back wonderful memories of Mikey, my late husband and Peagreen partner, who, like Calder, could turn everyday objects into extraordinarily beautiful things. The exhibition is open at the Louis Vuitton Foundation, @lvmh Paris until August 16th.

We had such a fascinating visit to @laundre_uk in Canning Town yesterday, the UK’s first tech-enabled sustainable denim hub. Peagreen are proud to be part of Products of Change @poc.global , a purpose driven organisation providing resources to help the brand and licensing industry reduce its environmental impact. Connecting with other sustainability centred brands is so rewarding, and our group trip to LaundRE showed us how important environmentally focused production and repurposing is for the future of fashion. LaundRE allows brands to finish jeans on-shore with low-impact processes to reduce waste and recapture value in garments that would otherwise be destroyed. We were lucky enough to be shown around by founder, Salli Deighton where we watched demonstrations of how their resources and wash technology are used to create a sustainable, circular cycle that reshapes supply chains and reduces waste in the denim industry, giving us hope for a more sustainable future in fashion. Thanks so much to @sallidme for having us! And a huge thank you to @poc.global for welcoming us into your community, we look forward to many more ventures into sustainable production across more industries! As pattern designers, we know the importance of colour! That’s why we took a trip to see how Daler- Rowney, one of the only UK based manufacturers of arts materials since 1783, create their sustainable, innovative art supplies. Through pigments to paints, we had a lovely day watching the journey of their colours and how they’re transformed into oils, watercolours and acrylic. Thank you @dalerrowney1783 for having us! 🎨🫟🖌️

After being guided through the Cambridge Botanical Garden by our banners, visitors were left longing to take a souvenir of the hot house home. We couldn’t resist asking our intern Livi to create a lifestyle photoshoot of our recent collaboration with Curating Cambridge, and the product pictures did not disappoint… Follow the link below if you fancy a memento for yourself! https://curatingcambridge.co.uk/collections/glasshouse-range?_kx=XY2BPuEpc6wwxvzZsLvQLap9q93wWrZZL1TFZyvoD8A.TgARFi @curatingcambridge @cubotanicgarden Design by @marissa_kingsbury Photography by @livigj

We’re very proud to announce that our latest mural is complete and installed at The Arc Winchester, part of Hampshire Cultural Trust. To see our vision become a reality is a truly special experience! A big thank you to all of the amazing teams who were part of this project, we couldn’t have done it without you. This mural was achievable with the support of a grant from the UK Government and a Shared Prosperity Fund, awarded by Winchester City Council. @arcwinch @funactiveplaygrounds @studiomoo_uk @winchestercitycouncil

Peagreen Studio was given the opportunity to design a mural outside The Arc in Winchester, part of Hampshire Cultural Trust, to uplift the entrance and create a fun, welcoming environment for a new outdoor seating area. This reel showcases the great work by Fun and Active Playgrounds and each stage of their installation process. A huge thanks to their team for turning our design into a reality. This project was achievable with the support of a grant from the UK Government and a Shared Prosperity Fund awarded by Winchester City Council.
