Finally got my ass to this one! 🌳👟🍑 As a Birmingham gal it's taken me far too long to get around to it...years it's been on the to do list! Also had a walk around the Elan Valley to-scale sculpture, another first I've been meaning to do for ages!
Slightly overactive imagination today re the killer robo-swans 😆 So glad I'm not working on Saturday mornings now so I can enjoy park running again 🫶

Heat for the heats!! Got to see Keely @keely.hodgkinson win the 800 SF in 35°c! 🇬🇧👟

Fair play to the athletes and crowd in Costa del Brum this week.

Thank you @run_ofakind for the free tickets 👌😘

Saw all the track events between 11 and 1pm then left to get back to work.

Go Keely 🇬🇧

Lane 6 👀

A nice morning /afternoon out with my cousin and her athlete teen 😎

How cool is Steeple Chase! 👟💦

Mad

Caught the bus for the first time in many years...quick and efficient travel Perry Barr train station to the stadium instead of walking over a mile in the heatwave BUT a bit stinky 😝

IWD + T + C = afternoon tea fighting the big C on international womens day 🩷

These 3 amazing women have all been directly affected by the trauma of cancer. The faces you see are at different parts in their journey, from the shock of a diagnosis 2 months ago, to a recently fought battle 2 years ago, to the devastating loss of an 11 y.o son 13 years ago.

Incredible women with fighting spirit. It takes a lot of positive energy to spread hope and take action to get sh!t done but, despite how hard it must be, they #getshitdone💪

Gail: @ortonmedia thanks or organising a great event, always a fighter 💪
Sarah @sarahwallacecalter you'll win this fight 💪
Georgie @helpharryhelpotherscharity just amazing helping thousands of Bham & Solihull people with your charity and community centre, your work is so important and you are ace 💪

Let's celebrate #internationalwomensday because we made ourselves a day. If you want a day just #getshitdone and make one #iwd 😜
