“Gods and Mezcal II”
Oil on linen
120cm x120cm plus frame, right now on the walls of @district13artfair, Paris
@fousiongallery booth 13 A
until Tomorrow night!!!!!
“I worked very concentrated on this painting, especially in the construction where the egg is exactly in the center and keeps the symmetry in balance.
It is a shamanic allegory of rebirth and life.
It occurs in a sterile ground but the water flowing from the bellies are symbol of life element
just like the egg and the monarch butterfly that also represents the rebirth.
The lotus flower in balance symbolize the spirituality.
The cosmos represented by bacteriums also a symbol of primigenial life.
On the ground lies the solar system, which is our ecosystem.
The death skull reigns in the same way than life
The shamanic figures of the red diablitos maintain the balance between life and death.
The strawberry represents fertility and is desired by the death represented by the skull.
The two central figures a little Adam and Eve maybe?”
What do you think? Or better what do you see? , is possible a comment? 🙏
