Brown Sugar Caipirinha
On special this week, in honour of.

D’Angelo., you were a beautiful staple at Sopra. Ever ready to dim the lights a lil lower, lignite a few candles and set a sensual mood.

I can only speculate as to the number of babies were conceived to your music.

I recall seeing you at the Opera House, a few years ago. You were about an and a half late and the crowd, including myself, was getting agitated.
All was immediately forgiven, when you came out playing “Devil’s Pie”.

My infatuation with your music started long ago, before I actually knew who you were…I had always enjoyed your appearance on the “Space Jam” soundtrack.

Thank you for everything you did for music. Your music will be played until the sun burns out…

Rest In Pleasure
(Because you’re definitely having plenty wherever you are)

[01.07.2025-31.07.2025] Not so Dry July

Shout out to the ones that completed Dry July, whether u only did it for the month, or just absolute sober warriors. New peeps on the block, a road trip and just a night out eating some of the best meat that I ever tasted 🤤 @kevinl117 (also got a slab of steak which was okay). There was no chance I could go dry (next year is my year I swear).

Our newly hatched mobile cocktail bar most definitely brings the drinks, but we like to think it brings more than just a bit of vibe, too. (And maybe a scoop of ice cream, if you’re lucky.)

[PS2?] - Well it’s a bartender’s bedtime. That still counts as Twosday, right? RIGHT?

Sometimes posting every day and twice on Twosdays while keeping up with everything going on in Hospo can be a little tiring so we’re just gonna celebrate PS40 just a little more on their achievements and we’ll explore the other incredible drinks and even more incredible people who made them throughout the week.

Goodnight or good morning, Hosposexuals! No matter what time your night owl self gets to bed we’re hoping you can easily rest that pretty little head x

[COMMUNITY] - “The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.” - Coretta Scott King.

Something we admire the most about our community is the empathy, kindness, generosity, and compassion we extend on a daily basis to complete strangers. At any given moment we give every last soul the opportunity to be who they need to be whether they need to tend to their proverbial wounds or to amplify their greatest successes. The very core of what we do is emotional and we put ourselves in a position to elevate those around us when they need it and while it is such a passive consequence of our collective behaviour it is precisely what makes this community inexplicably amazing.

Just know: we see you. The compassion you exhibit is passed on through the people you cross and you make this community and world a better place. You’re a true Hosposexual and we love you. Our Hosposexual tribe is the vibiest vibe and it’s all thanks to you guys.

Love you all.

See you tomorrow.

[RECAP] - Well there always seems to be a lot going on in the Hospo world which is difficult to keep up with but let’s give it a quick crack shall we?

The one and only @stormevanss is in Mexico doing @patron Perfectionist things.

@ramblinrascaltavern took over @icebergsdiningroomandbar today.

@maybe_sammy_sydney had the ever influential @paradiso_barcelona takeover their bar as @huntergregory_ and company swing over to Singapore for a takeover of their own.

On Friday @sond3r_film launched its official campaign to transform @thecaterpillarclubsydney to @frankiespizzabytheslice for Halloween where a picture of a door got almost 50 likes so it seems there may be some interest from the Hosposexual community…

And despite the weather’s best efforts, everyone is still out living their lives. Happy Sunday, Hosposexuals!
