The galleries were abuzz yesterday as accepted artists got the first look at their artwork on the walls of the Summer Exhibition.

Traditionally, Varishing Day was when Summer Exhibition artists would add the finishing touches, or final coat of varnish, to their paintings.

Today, it is a celebration for the accepted artists; from the @sunnysteelband playing down Piccadilly to artists seeing their work on the wall for the first time, Varnishing Day is one big arty party 🎉

Loving the Lineage visits on these sunny days. Thank you for all for your support. Feeling the love. Special shout out to Ben Jones who visited Lineage and does not do social media! He brings joy to so many art loving people with his fascinating, inspiring gallery and museum tours. It was surreal, after so many years of gallery visits with Ben, to be discussing my own show with him! Thanks for the fab polaroid portrait with Rocco and @jaredglnsburg by @anniechaulkshead

Lovely to be a part of ‘Between Us’ at @sohorevue put on by the amazing @binderofwomen_ @piapack
Show continues until 6th June !!

Me, @oliviaster and @precious___opara dug deep to consider what connects our work, landing on the idea of : wallowing. We had a fun time curating our wall with this in mind!

Our prints made in the gallery print room are for sale on the Soho Revue website

And thank you very much @james_randell_ for being the best printmaking facilitator <3

Week 3: from Winter down to Spring.

This week the first warm morning with spring smells in the air and the sound of birds outside our truck.

Tuppence getting to grips with a map of Pennsylvania- one of the larger states in the US.

Visited Amish town of Intercourse, no photos allowed - have sent postcards to family & friends instead.

Wherever we park up folks want to know about the truck, it certainly is a conversation starter and we are pleased about that.

Lego on the rainy days. Drinking good coffee every day - particularly loved @hypergoatcoffee picked up in Alexandria Town.

@tarquin_pack birthday!

And have dusted off the @lumix that I bought on the advice of @adamwhiteheadphoto 16 years ago - still takes such good photos.

Travelling southwards, via @massmoca onto a night at a quarry, then a driving day to @sauconybeer with @harvesthosts and finally to @dutchwonderland campsite for Easter!
