POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I have been supporting small businesses and artists for as long as I can remember.

Doing markets myself I have made some amazing connections and friendships over the years so it was a no brainer for me to have these amazing people's work showcased in the shop.

If you would like to build an amazing collection like mine we're open Thursdays to Saturdays in container 71 @st_saviours_yard and 24/7 online at thebatandfriends.co.uk

We're looking forward to seeing you all 🥰
Also, if you would like to see more of my collection let me know and I will do a part 2 cause there's loads! 🥰

🕯The Wizard's Library sub - September 🕯

I've bought candles from @wizardsflame before after meeting Gemma at a local event (Ink and Engines last year) and talking about how some candles trigger my asthma; she reassured me hers were safe and I've never regretted a purchase. When I saw she'd launched a subscription book box with candles, I was intrigued.

I was an early subscriber to Page & Wick because they followed a similar theme, but I was eventually thoroughly disappointed in their service and cancelled my sub - their candles also triggered my asthma so I had switched to the book only box when they launched it as an option.

My first Wizard's Library box came and I was blown away. I was expecting just a book and a candle, so the other included items were an unexpected surprise. I loved how everything tied to the book so the box was completely themed suitably to enhance the reading experience.

I've read about 100 pages of the book and can confirm the items have been well thought out and do indeed fit well with themes of the book - this isn't a box with random items 😍

The wood wick candle is made of rapeseed and coconut wax, scented with lily, jasmine and hawthorne, created in my local city so extra warm fuzzy feelings for supporting local creators.

A little Library magic

The latest Wizard’s Library box has been packed and sent out to the world!

This one has been such a joy to create. Inside you’ll find Hunt the Ever Wild by S.E. Kiser, a gorgeous piece of artwork by @pinchpaints, my custom Lichtenwald candle inspired by the book, a small vial of Writers Blood ink and glass calligraphy pen, plus some beautiful paper complete with a little lily of the valley stamp.

I absolutely LOVE how this box came together. The book gave me so much inspiration!! I wanted this one to feel like you had just discovered something hidden deep within the Lichtenwald forest and was able to recreate its magic!

I wonder where the next Library adventure will take us...

Transformation MAGIC! ✨

I've been slowly teaching Pinch how to do magic in exchange for learning about art! It's always so fun to Collab on a project like this, stretching out both of our wings!

This book has been such a JOY to work on, Thank you @angryrobotbooks and S.E Kiser for creating a stunning world.

Now to hop into a portal for the November Box, I wonder where this will take us!

September!

You were a much more chilled one after a busier summer which was nice. I pretty much spent most of my time in the cinema.

"Do you make everything in here?" is something I get asked often. The answer is I do not.

I do have a few pieces of mine available but the majority is by the most talented artists you can find in Norwich, and the UK.

If you would like to see everything we have in stock we're open Thursdays to Saturdays in container 71 @st_saviours_yard

Only 4 days left to sign up for the SEPTEMBER BOX!

We've got a whimsy goth fantasy book where a forest fights back and a candle that smells fresh, floral but with a hint of the undead.

I wonder what other trinkets this book inspired and who I might have got involved in this box 🐦‍🔥

So if you haven't signed up and this sounds magical to you, get yourself over to wizardsflame.co.uk

They'll be shipped on the 25th September and I have already started working my magic on the next box!

Shout-out to my wizard in training @willywoomcmoo for recording me when we were at @starfallevents_norfolk

I've also added in music from @jasminecatherineofficial as she was on the stage singing like an angel while I was signing the book too!
