I’m absolutely smitten with my #Hoyaverstegii, making its debut on my page! The propagation leaves took a beating during travel, so it’s only now, with fresh new leaves, that it’s camera-ready! 😆 I can’t get enough of those fuzzy leaves—and just look at those beautiful leaf edges . 🫠

#hoyaburmanica reminds me of angel wings 👼

Have you noticed that I photograph do the majority of my plants with water 💦 on them? It’s because I coordinate their shower with my post. I’ve got around 130 hoyas in my collection. I rotate through my collection pretty much in order, so they get their leaves cleaned once every 3-4 months. 😁 When I wash their leaves, I also make sure to let the water runs through the medium and let it flow out the bottom of the pot. I do this to flush out extra salt build up from my fertilizer. It’s important to fertilize, but it’s also important to flush the in salts out too!

Liz’s personal experience only…every environment is different:
📸 Name: Hoya burmanica
☀️Light: under grow lights 14 hours/day
🚿Water: when dry
🌡Avg Temp last 30 days: normal household
💦Relative Humidity last 30 days: 35-40%
👀Rareness: of the 238 respondents to my poll in my stories yesterday, 14% reported having this one.
💩Fertilizer frequency: about every other watering when it is actively putting on new growth. The fertilizer that I use contains macro & micronutrients, it’s the best I’ve found for Hoyas yet!🪴
⚫️⚪️ Rooting Method: fluval stratum
🕰Time In My Care: 2 months
