September was for the girlies. @youngbrokefabulous turned me on to the best happy hour in the city at @stpierrerestaurant (escargot, tartar, foie gras, nothing over $10? Shut up). I got to see @playbymarly at her iconic annual green dress party (@carrieann_mn and I were wearing the same dress, even completing our looks with babies on our hips, the signature Fall accessory). The cherry on top was celebrating @kika.darling ‘s birthday by seeing @ilana live!! None of these photos do any of the nights justice. Thanks for getting me out of the house, you beauties.

Feeling especially energized after last night’s IIDA Northland Annual Meeting! 🥾✨

I’m incredibly honored to step into the role of President-Elect for IIDA Northland and even more excited about the path ahead.

Last night, our theme was : “On the Right Path.” And as we look at where this chapter is headed, I feel both encouraged and inspired by what’s ahead.

I’m grateful to be hiking this path alongside an incredible group of volunteers, board members, partners, and design professionals who continue to show up and make IIDA Northland what it is.
Here’s to the next stretch of the trail—and all the good things waiting around the bend. 🥾💫

I am so proud of my magical friend @keionacook who is heading off to show her @qebellacouture designs at @nyfw this weekend. 🙌🏻🗽🍎

I had the pleasure of attending a few #NYFW shows in 2022 and ran around NYC w Keiona laughing hysterically and enjoying our Libra Fashionista (MF) selves immensely. She would disappear for a few hours each day and then show up in a spectacular new ensemble that she made in her hotel room after buying fabric at @moodfabrics @projectrunway style and my mind was blown. 🤯

Her talent is insane, and best of all she chooses to share it with the next generation by teaching kids to sew at her nonprofit @lovelyssewing. And then teaches them to sell what they make, manage their money, practice yoga and mindfulness, and has her students model in her fashion shows if they choose to. Her next show in MN is on Wed, September 30th at @machineshopmpls w an Army Fatigues + Pearls theme..get tix at link in bio.

I’ve been her publicist since we met almost a decade ago because I believe in her mission and talent…and she’s one of the best people I know. So wish I could be there this weekend, but Jeff has his annual golf trip with friends and mom life calls. I’m not worried tho..she’ll be back to show in NY and debuting in Paris and Milan soon enough. We all love you and know you’ll crush it in NY this weekend, Keiona!! ✨💖✨

Last week, the full NOLO team came together in Minneapolis for our first annual Summer Retreat—bringing our remote team from Steamboat, Milwaukee, and Hudson together for a few days of connection, creativity, and fun.

We kicked things off with the @mncrew_mn Annual Golf Tournament, complete with matching T’s, confetti, and a little friendly competition. Then came Forest Bathing and foraging for Chicken of the Woods mushrooms (and grilling them up later!), and then a deep dive into our CliftonStrengths with @katelynra

In between the fun were conversations about our clients, new relationships, big ideas, and where we’re headed next.

We left our retreat a little more connected, a lot more inspired, and very excited for what’s ahead.

Some nights remind you just how lucky we are to call Minneapolis home. ❤️
We Love Our City wasn’t just a beautiful event. It was a celebration of the people and organizations quietly doing the hard work of making our community stronger every single day. It was inspiring to see so much love poured into nonprofits that truly deserve more recognition and support.
A city isn’t just its skyline or its neighborhoods. It’s the people who show up for each other. This night was a beautiful reminder of exactly that, and I think everyone left feeling incredibly grateful to be part of a community that cares so deeply. ✨

Here are the amazing nonprofits that were the focus of the evening:

@hennepinhc - Hennepin Healthcare provides exceptional care to everyone who walks through its doors while serving as a vital safety net and teaching hospital for our community.

@peopleservingpeople - People Serving People helps families experiencing homelessness find stability by providing shelter, support, and the resources they need to build brighter futures.

@ppltwincities - Project for Pride in Living helps people build brighter futures through affordable housing, career training, and support that creates lasting opportunities for individuals and families.

@thesannehfoundation - The Sanneh Foundation empowers young people and strengthens communities through education, mentorship, and sports, creating opportunities for every child to thrive.

This has been a crazy year so far of many ups and downs, if you had told me a year ago my life would look like this today I wouldn’t believe you! My new job at Farmers insurance has given me so much more freedom and actually living my life and I am so grateful we are working on buying our first home and fixing it up and celebrating one year married as well as watching the people in my life thrive too! I am so grateful to be able to spend time with the people that bring me so much happy! So happy to be in this spot and excited to see what comes next and hit me up with your insurance needs!💕🍾

The Parameters team had a blast at this years @iidanorthland Fusion & Fashion “Grimms’ Fairy Tales” themed runway show last week! We took some of our fabulous designer friends from @stemariedesigngroup and roerscos out to dinner and drinks before the event and then they all attended to support our team of designers who created a unique ensemble for the runway inspired by the story of Little Red Riding Hood! Our model @the_goddess_tee did an incredible job embodying the vision on the catwalk and we are all so proud of her and the whole team who worked so hard to make their vision a reality! A big shout out as well to our Manager of Marketing, Marly Ramstad, who was an integral part of the Fusion planning committee for hosting a fun and flawless show!
