My heart is still so FULL and I’m still not over this day. 🥹🤍🥂

There’s something so special about being in a room surrounded by women who have loved you through so many different versions of yourself… and now they get to love on you as a BRIDE. 😭💍

The laughs, the hugs, the little details, moments and all the love in the room are memories I’ll truly carry with me long after this season is over!

🌹Top 3 non-negotiable when booking a hotel: FITNESS CENTER!

Me and my Husband have been very intentional about moving our bodies, even when we’re on vacation. We love a good work out facility at the hotel. If a hotel doesn’t have one, 9.8 times out of 10 we’re not booking with them 🤣

But uh… am I the only one whose partner turns into a drill sergeant when you try to workout with them!? 😭👎🏾 So I personally enjoy our in tandem workouts 🙄😅

I did a kettle bell workout while Tez completed a @juiceandtoya workout 💪🏾 The beach wasn’t far from our hotel so we walked there right after 😌

Tampa was a great trip! I gotta show y’all more footage from it 🌹

Celebrated #BlackMaternalHealthWeek by graduating from a 20-week Doula Training Program through @bmbfa 💜

Becoming a Community Based Doula furthers my mission of saving and preserving the Black family! I’m excited to get deeper into birth work & step more into my ancestral birthright!

Thank you to the midwives and doulas who have come before me & have done the work to save our Black Mamas & Babies! I’m grateful to be included in the community of phenomenal women & will continue to make my lineage proud by staying Rooted in Justice & Joy 🌹

“This image shows Henrietta Lacks, a Black woman whose cells were taken without her knowledge or consent in 1951. Those cells, HeLa cells, became foundational to modern medicine, and contributed to breakthroughs in cancer treatment, vaccines, and reproductive health.

While the world benefited, her family was kept in the dark for DECADES. Their story is documented in “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks,” which shows the human cost of medical research done without consent.

Honoring Henrietta Lacks means telling the truth and demanding ethical, informed care today. Honoring her means demanding transparency, consent, and justice in healthcare.

Consent matters. Truth matters. Black lives matter 🌹

Today is the day my mother was born. She was taken away from me when I was only 2. My daughter is currently 4 and I couldn’t imagine what life would be like without her parents at this age in these times…I just want to show my gratitude to her with this post for bringing me through her sacred portal of life! My time here on earth has been a filled with trials and tribulations and I’m thankful I don’t look like what I’ve been through. I had a breakthrough moment earlier full of grief and on the other side of that moment came bliss and clarity! As my wife wiped my tears away I felt so much better after my release because of all that I’m able to witness in the present! I told her that I could relate to Job’s story from the bible. The loss that I’ve experienced can’t compare to the JOY that I feel from all that I’ve gained through our union 💍. I have a testimony that will be documented but until then I will continue to live in my truth. Today is my favorite day of the year even over my own birthday because of the memories it holds with FAMILY! I cherish it so deeply and pray these words resonate with my friends and family. I love you all that comes across this post. Thank you! Enjoy what I like to call “FAMILY DAY”.
