Last month, students from our Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant, and MD programs came together for an interprofessional education (IPE) experience focused on gender disparities in CPR. 🫀 Through collaborative, real-life scenarios, students strengthened their clinical skills while exploring how gender can impact the recognition and delivery of lifesaving care. Experiences like these highlight the importance of learning across disciplines and preparing future healthcare professionals to provide prompt, accurate, and equitable CPR for every patient. #InterprofessionalEducation #IPE #CPREducation #HealthcareEducation #QuinnipiacUniversity #QuinnipiacPT #Quinnipiac #QUDPT #QUCommunity #PTStudentLife #PhysicalTherapyEducation #PhysicalTherapy #HandsOnLearning #ForTheAmbitious #ClinicalEducation #BobcatNation

MDs, DOs, PAs, NPS, DMDs, CRNAs, RNs, Aestheticians…They told you to get into the Aesthetic Industry, but did they explain diversification to you? “The richest people in the world look for and build networks; everyone else looks for work.” Robert Kiyosaki Customer diversification refers to expanding your reach to include a variety of customer groups or markets, encompassing different demographics, industries, geographic regions, and even purchasing behaviors. This process requires understanding the unique needs of each segment of clientele and tailoring your marketing strategies, products, or services to meet those needs. Adaptions to Changing Trends & Preferences Consumer preferences are constantly evolving, driven by factors such as technological advancements, societal changes, and environmental concerns. Diversifying your customer base lets you stay attuned to these shifting trends and adapt your products or services accordingly Engaging with diverse customer segments exposes you to new perspectives, insights, and ideas. This diversity of thought can fuel innovation within your organization inspiring the development of new products, services, and business models Building relationships with a diverse customer base fosters a sense of inclusivity and belonging. When customers feel valued and understood, they are more likely to develop loyalty towards your brand. Song 🎶 Credit: How Did We Get Here? Today was one of those days that reminds me how lucky I am to do the work we are doing. In A Heartbeat was honored to partner with Connecticut native and NBA player Andre Drummond at the Andre Drummond All-Stars Basketball Camp. Together, we provided free heart screenings (EKGs) to campers and taught CPR and AED skills to the high school athletes. For me, this is what prevention looks like. We know that sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone—even young athletes. By combining early detection through EKG screenings with lifesaving CPR and AED education, we’re helping identify hidden heart conditions while empowering the next generation with skills that can save a life. A special thank you to Andre for using his platform to prioritize the health and safety of young people. I’m also incredibly grateful to our amazing volunteers from the Quinnipiac University School of Nursing Community Engagement Program, the Physician Assistant Program, and the Netter School of Medicine, along with everyone in our incredible In A Heartbeat family who gave their time and energy to make today possible. Your passion and commitment are what make days like this a reality. It takes a village to create safer communities, and today was a perfect example of what’s possible when people come together around a shared mission. Every screening. Every person trained. Every conversation. It all matters. ❤️🏀
